Improved Wheelman Mod/ a fight against camos

Would it be too much to have Wheelman combined with an Anti camo ability? Not trying to make Camo completely useless against any vehicle on the scene, but so that it won’t become OP, you could have so that any Camo within a certain range will set off a Sonar-like noise.

The beeping increases rapidly only if they are within thrusting or Sprinting distance to board. So it is balanced. The Mod will tell you camo is in vicinity, so it’s up to you to kill them before they get dangerously close, in which it will rapidly increase…

Really? Because I’ve lost locking with the Hydra after someone’s camo recharged. I also thought I saw a YouTube video showing that Hydra’s de-lock when someone cloaks.

You can hear footsteps when someone wears camo. I think it is balanced well. Diluting Camo would make some vehicles too OP.

Probably the minority can, that’s not enough of a fix to let Camo be so OP. Even I can’t hear them sometimes with everything else going on, and crouching can really muffle the sound of your steps.

I’m not saying there should be a marker placed above their head. Just that the Mod will notify you that Camo is around but too close to you yet. I said the beeping noise would gradually increase as they get closer, then Camo wouldn’t stand a chance, but there’s a difference between that and what I said.

As if the Scorpion isn’t the easiest Tank to board in this game of all Halos. I think we should strengthen ground vehicles, Camo being diluted against a mod is the last thing I care about.

They can still totally hide offscreen if they have sensors too. I’ve been killed by camos off radar even with sensors.

Yeah I know man, while we’re at it making camo uselsss, Wheelman should make it so when someone shoots you with a plasma pistol they have their account deleted, because they’re just stupid noobs using a lvl 3 req to kill my legendary vehicle. I should just be able to destroy everyone and everything because it’s a legendary right? How dare they try to counter me! /s

Hydra can’t lock onto camo. Only if they’re sprinting and are visible

I rather be plasma pistoled than to be killed by cops. Camo in Warzone just OP, no ifs and buts about it. It’s not about making Camo useless, but more balanced. I know I’m attacking your baby, Camo, but it’s not the end of the world to have it nerfed in 1 Mod lol.

How about this:

When a hijacker hops onto your ride, you have a very small opportunity of bailing out and escaping. In the meantime, your vehicle is set to self-destruct, taking your hijackers with it. If you have any passengers / gunners with you, they are immediately (and comically) ejected out via ejector seats as you bail out.

Hmmm I don’t know it’s an interesting idea but wouldn’t it basically make camo useless at some point.
There has to be a balance of some sort to make sure neither is too op or useless.

But camo already comes with it’s risks (assuming you aren’t camping the vehicle spawn points but you don’t even need camo at that point) if you want to retain the benefits of camo you have to be crouching, if you walk at full speed you aren’t on the motion tracker but you glimmer and it’s pretty easy to see, and sprinting negates it.
Splattering is wonky in this game where if you touch a vehicle you take a ton of damage/die like in CE, so while you’re waddling over to the enemy you may get hit by AI/Marines that can see through camo, get accidentally run over by the vehicle you’re jacking/another vehicle, or someone notices you since even while crouching a good pair of eyes notices that glimmer. All while you have a timer that isn’t that long since you’d probably have to traverse the map at walk/crouch speed and it’s pretty balanced.

I think it’s fine. I never ran to a problem with it and it’s not like it lasts a whole match. It does its intended purpose nothing more or nothing less. Allowing the enemy to see the cloak person via radar having blimps (reach and 4) or any way letting people know camo is up and about kinds ruins the whole sneaky part. If you are in a vehicle move around don’t stand still if they said behind a corner then rip.
But in all honesty the vehicle giving a sound radar not visual radar wouldn’t be bad IMO. I could see that happen

I think people misinterpreted what I said, not visible blips, but by sound. The Camo guy will NOT be revealed on radar by a blip

What I mean is camo is too good against the mantis’ as it always one shots the grenade in the back while for the wraith and scorpion, it can survive a grenade in the back if its the rare and ultra rare and above variants respectively. You have to manoeuvre yourself to not get splattered, but for any mantis just camo in with no worries.
The biggest problem I have is players believing camo is only used for legendary mantis’.

This sounds good as long as it’s not earrape at point blank range.

I think it should just be that they show up on Motion Tracker.

I think they should bring back meele.
When you board.
Not just boarded = your dead…grenade.

It should cost a grenade to plant one. (Like it used to be)

I think they should just bring up the radar jammer invis from h5. The fact that a level 4 req can destroy a level 7 or vehicle with little to no threat for them doing do.

The jammer didn’t completely give camo away it just let you know that there is a Camo guy within a certain radius. So your just aware as a vehicle user that you have to be more cautious.

It crazy that there is no counter to invis boarding. I hate using ground vehicles for the fact that I get board every game multiple times by a lvl 4 req that doesn’t take long to aquire.
