Improved Specializations and Ranking System

This thread also has a few tweaks to Halo MP and after this no going back. Only steps forward.

with the new specializations they would give players abilities above others. But instead of you Spartan IV having all of these abilities you will only get one specialization. No trade ins, once you are this that is what you are.

Each of the new specializations would have a great boost while at the same time a bit of a defect. You don’t have to choose a specialization but if you are good at a certain thing or you want to support you and your team well picking one would be right up your alley. I made the base of these examples and a fellow forum member(you know who you are  ) added in adjustments of what he thought they should be. (Spec further below) Remember these are just an idea of what the new Specializations could be like and if you are interested in a specialization well you have to prove you are the (insert species here) that deserves it. Nothing is better than working hard for your rewards right? RIGHT?

So what i say for this new form of specializations we bring back the 1-50 and get rid of a few things in Halo 4 like the loadouts. If we will have loadouts, let it be like in Reach. Where the player doesn’t choose every spicy and sometimes cheap weapons that they can spawn with all the time. Like plasma grenades or or boltshot and the most effective weapon in MP. Loadouts being different AA’s, as well instead of a walking armory.

Back to the specs,

I say if they return make it so they have a large impact but you can only pick one. (since i doubt spartan IV’s are specialized in more than one thing.) These new specializations would be very difficult to get too and will always be on. All other starting perks would be removed as well.

Example

Wetwork- Motion tracker shows you as an ordnance drop (hollow blue diamond), your animations are 50% faster, silent footsteps, footsteps are louder to a Spartan using Wetwork, Promethean Vision can’t see you and camo last longer and makes you 25% less visible. While invisible, the player’s shield is at 50% and takes 10% longer to recharge than normal.

Pioneer- More effective and accurate with Forerunner weapons and armor abilities, May exchange one armor unlock for another available within ten levels. Non-Forerunner AAs take 20% longer to recharge. Human and Covenant weapons have 10% less aim assist.

Engineer- All weapon/vehicles spawns are known to player, player is notified when power weapons are about to drop and where they are. Power weapons obtained in this way have half as many clips as usual.

Tracker- AKA Ordinance Master(only player to get ordinance drops, mainly a support class) Trackers depending on how good their team is doing they will be able to drop supplies for allies. Giving it to them directly or marking where the drop point would be. Varies between any spawnable item even vehicles. Player is EMP’d with each ordnance drop.

Rouge- 25 % increased aim assist, immune to descope and aim can’t be disturbed by explosives or firearms. Player is 50% slower when scoped-in.

Stalker- Highlighted footsteps of foes allow the Stalker to find any target if they have killed or harmed the Stalker. Stalker also is able to mark hostile teams most valuable player. Marking the MVP immobilizes the Stalker for three seconds.

Pathfinder- Automatic weapons never lose accuracy along with an increasing damage when firing at a targets head with automatics, can run at normal speeds with turrets as well as being able to sprint with them, plasma weapons and any vehicles canons take longer to overheat. Takes twice as long for the player to recover from sprinting with a turret than with any other weapon. Reload speed for automatic weapons is 15% slower than normal.

Operator- Vehicles are more powerful while an Operator is behind the wheel, Operators can save allies and themselves from w vehicles destruction, stun last half as long. Saving yourself and/or allies from a wreck may only be done three times per match. Operator’s base speed is 10% slower than that of other players.

Just ideas that could change the Specs for the better if you ask me. I might as well just make a thread but it would sort of a -Yoink!- move to do that as long as this thread is up.

If you wish add in the little changes you want to the list of examples and/or add in a specialization that you would create to have in Halo, but remember it has to have a draw back.

Awarded at Level 1 you get your First A.I. and a random personality. After getting your A.I. you can upgrade it with your social rank and credits. Changing its color, avatar, voice and gender. Your A.I. will act as you announcer and will guide you along through out your MP experience. Not until you Reach Skill level 20 would you be able to unlock the customization of your A.I.

Last, Weapons

Automatic do more damage with headshots, only 3 precision weapons in MP that players can have for MP. (if the DMR is a must i got something for it as well)

Carbine-Best at Close to Medium Range.

BR-great a Medium Range.

Light Rifle- Medium to Long Range. (DMR mini sniper)

Dual Wieldable Weapons

Needler (because they are so rare), magnum, PP, SMGs, Plasma Rifles, Spikers, Boltshots( takes two shots for instant kill ) and any new small rifle.

Suppressor-rocks player screen, makes it very hard to aim and pushes players slightly away.

Storm Rifle or Plsama Repeater- Close to Mid Close Range

Assault Rifle-All Round( is player uses shoots well )

and Descope

so basically this was my Halo 5 list agree disagree let me know your…

Thoughts?

Covenant Specialization-This list of specializations is reserved for any future Covenant species. Such as if elites or brutes might end up joining the fray. These will allow the player to have different abilities on different species since, the species won’t exactly have the same specializations.

Sangheili Specializations-

Ossoona-Able to spawn as hostile spawns through out the game is the player chooses so. After spawning they have 5 free seconds of camouflage. Ossoona also have a damage and durability buff. They are more accurate than other Sangheili with human weapons and vehicles. Human vehicles are 30% more durable while an Ossoona is behind the wheel. Human automatics do 15% more damage with 30% increased accuracy while precision weapons do 10% increased damage with 20 percent accuracy. Do to their unique human weapons training Ossoona are less accurate with Forerunner weapons by 50%.

Weapons Master-These Elites are able to buff allies and their own weapons. Depending on How good they or their team is doing. Giving his fellow Sangheili or Spartans damage boosts to their weapons until killed. The weapons master can only achieve this upgrade only after a killing spree. Increasing all allies damage up by 33%.

Honor Guard-The Elite Honor Guard are the supreme protectors of whatever their objective is. As long as they are in range of allies or the base objective ensuring hostiles don’t take their goal. They will get defense, speed and accuracy boost. As long as a Honor Guard is near the objective or player they will be easily noticed from their chants. Allies within the Honor Guards radius of 3 meters get a defensive boost of 10%. Every second a Honor Guard is defending players or objective they will get a 2% defensive boost that will go away if they leave the radius.

Ranger- Rangers are very able shock troops of sangheili forces. Their thrusters make them immune to fall damage and to fly at speed superior to human jet packs and stay flying longer. Their flight speed is half of that of a boosted banshee. While firing in flight mode the rangers have a 100% accuracy drop with no aim assist.

Stealth-These elites have a 3 minute camouflage with the drawback of no shields while their camo is active, but the camouflage is 50% more effective. While fighting in camo they aren’t reviled and have a 20% accuracy boost.

Special Operations-These Elite Sangheili are commando grade troops with the better training than the average Sangheili Warrior. Spec Ops elites have a 50% accuracy, shield and animation speed boost. While in camo the accuracy boost is added up to 75%. Being able to hear targets from long distances while not being heard is apart of their Spec Ops training. They can’t be spotted by any vision increasing abilities, they also have a 15% speed increase. Spec Ops elites don’t operate well with vehicles. If they operrate a vehicles it will be 50% less effective and 25% less durable.

Swordsman-If the swords man manages to get an energy sword they will receive infinite sprint, ammo with a 25% increase of speed. While holding a sword they will not be able to switch to another other weapon or get into vehicles. They will also be immune to any damage boosting effects including headshots. They will be easily noticed with their berserker screams.

Kaidon-While on the battlefield the Kaidon dictates many things for his allies. If he does well his allies will be treated well. If he does wrong than his allies will feel the effects. When a Kaidon appears on the field they will instantly give their allies a 5% efficiency boost. Depending on what the player does in the game afterwards will change if the Kiadon is a good thing or bad. With every kill the efficiency rate of allies is increased by 5% but every death will decrease the rate by 10%.

Next are the Brute s specializations, in case peace is finally established with them.

Jiralhanae Specializations-Since the Sangheili and the Jiralhenae shared may things in the Covenant it think it would be better if i kept this short.

Brute Packman- After defeating a foe the pack man is able eat them to gain their power. The Brute Packman will receive a 10% damage boost for every corpse he eats. If the packman doesn’t eat his fallen foes after a a certain time the packman will receive a 25% lost of accuracy.

Jump Jet-These brutes change the normal jet pack into a jump kit. Increases their jump height up to 100 meters depending on how long the player charges up their kit before lift off. While in the air the brutes have the height advantage but aren’t very mobile and will be s sitting duck if their stay up for too long.

Howler-These brutes howl in battle causing hostiles to have an efficiency decrease. As long as the howler lives hostiles will get a efficiency decrease of 5% every after every howl. Howls can are able to be done after every kill, assist or when the Howler taunts foes with the d-pad. If the howler is killed his damaging effects will go away.

Berseker- These brutes are tide turners, if taking loses or are about to die they can go berserker. Increasing their melee damage by 300% and speed by 100%. The more they kill the longer the berserk and each kill keeps them alive. When the berserker wears off the brutes brain will shutdown but only if the player was near death before the berserk. Berserkers will get the same boost with a Gravity Hammer.

Power Gear- Brutes with power gear will get Power Armor, instead of shields. Power armor doesn’t recharge but will give players a base armor strength of 300%. As powerful as the armor it is slows the speed of the brute by 15%.

Remember these are just examples of what could be. Of course they aren’t set in stone and these won’t be for everyone. Only after skill level 35 and the 5 mil credits gained from Social,Custom,Firefight,Spartan Ops and Campaign games and how good you do in them. You will get credits from ranked games just not as as much in the others listed.
