In halo reach there was much customization with enemy spawns, shield and weapons. kinda like custom games.
In halo: CEA you have ODST squads fighting with you! sweet!
however firefight still felt a bit limited.
How about we mix forge and firefight? So in firefight you can place some weapons here and there and spawns for enemies and allies! I imagine it would have to be small in scale but I reckon its possible!
Maybe you could edit firefight maps? place a wall here, a turret there. Not on forge worlds scale, much too difficult for the devs, but an editor for firefight would be great!
Also larger battles in firefight with Scorpion tanks would be appreciated.
I would like the option to place weapon shelves for ARs, Pistols and DMRs instead of an infinite ammo crate. This would replicate the ODST experience that you only had so much ammo to go around.
With the ammo crate, it doesn’t really feel like survival and is like an arcade shooter. I love Reach FF but it wouldn’t hurt to have a true, classic ODST experience.
I don’t really like how they added the Marines. Yeah they can help you survive, but isn’t the point to Firefight how long you can survive. Not you and a bunch of marines.
i totally agree with skillfultree.and marines in firefight was always something i wanted to have. ( turn friendly support on/off) versus mode could be a little bit better now with the marines .flood in firefight would be awsome ,but maybe we get it in the future. but the thing i would like the most would be a really big map with some epic war going on, as you say with scorpion tank and all that stuff. my personal biggest dream is fighting a scarab in firefight as ultimate boss. or that the covenat build up some defense systems on the map during the fight, like turrets and stuff like that. the custom skulls could be better , instead of changing the behavior of all enemies in a wave, you should change for example yust the behavier of the brute chieftain.
another idea : a mix of firefights versus mode an invasion for matchmaking with two teams and covies/marines backing them up.
