Am I the only one who’s noticed that a lot of the armor is either impossible to unlock or it will take forever. For example, I want the breach stance, but you need the unsc ordnance mastery commendation. That’s almost 1000 kills with each ordnance weapon. It’s duable, but that will take forever, and I just don’t have the time. Also, for the covenant load out mastery, how the heck am I supposed to get 1000 kills with the plasma pistol?! Anyone else agree?
Time… All it takes is time
I was under the impression that UNSC Ordnance Mastery was achieved by calling in ordnance that was UNSC gear (frag grenades, sniper rifle, SAW). Are you sure? Either way it’s going to take a while though.
You can get kills through the Firefight thingy, and they count towards your commendations. I believe campaign counts too.
“How the heck are you suppose to get 1000 kills with a plasma pistol?!”
You cant. lol
With ordnance, it’s really not that hard. The only one that would be hard is the sticky detonator, as it’s not an easy weapon to use if you don’t know how to use it.
Nothing is impossible to unlock in game, some are just a bit harder than others.
1000 kills with a plasma pistol seems pretty undoable. If you play for 2 - 3 years it seems you’ll probably get all of them naturally Except for that one.
> You can get kills through the Firefight thingy, and they count towards your commendations. I believe campaign counts too.
No. It’s wargames ONLY.
> You can get kills through the Firefight thingy, and they count towards your commendations. I believe campaign counts too.
Only kills in War Games count towards Weapon commendations, not campaign or Spartan OPs.
To the OP, I’ve been trying to get Plasma Pistol done this week and have about 100 out of the 940 now, but it’s meant full time regicide running around getting shot to pieces and my K/D is now awful.
If you want them bad enough you can do them, 343i have just made some a little too high in my opinion.
Crawler - Sniper in Spartan Ops is going to take the longet I think.
Just dont stress about it, when u get the orodanance use to the best of ur ability and have fun, before u know it u will check ur commendations and u will have made a huge dent in each of them
> You can get kills through the Firefight thingy, and they count towards your commendations. I believe campaign counts too.
You don’t get weapon commendations in so/campaign. That would be way too easy.
Also, you have to kill other spartans, so flood does not count.
Flood counts coz I just leveled shotgun in flood
Go to Flood to get your shotty and magnum kills up. I’m not sure, but I think the Flood’s arm may count as the sword. I’ll check on that later, unless someone else does.
Yeah, the plasma pistol one is near impossible. I dont see how on earth you can actually kill anyone with the plasma pistol, it gets nerfed each game. However, the hardest one would be the crawler sniper one. I played each level of spartan ops twice at least and i have only killed 27 of them. Hopefully chapter five has lots of Prometheans.

Interesting, I’ll have to check that.

No, it counts as a melee kill, not energy sword (I think).

It is quite difficult at the moment, my only opinion to be able to level that commendation efficiently would be stealth. Camp, wait for them to walk near you melee, proceed to fire wildly at them while they run away from the green terror. But honestly, they should make EMP assists count towards that commendation.

Well, that is disappointing then, isn’t it?
well does any one know why we only get the mark 6 armor from halo 3 and not halo 4? I mean that if you look at the armor there different form campain then mp.
