Please can you remove the splatter challenge “hood ornament” from the pool of challenge as it is impossible to run someone over in halo infinite. How they messed up getting hit by a vehicle = died I do not know.

Well good for you, your most likely one of those players who luckily get put up against bad players who don’t grapple jack, use disruption grenades or kill you with a power weapon.
I got splattered last night by a ghost that had been EMP’d. It was barely moving when I got up to it to hijack. Then, other times the ghost is moving at full speed and players just sorta get scooted to the side.

I agree 100% not able to run over play in a vehicle IMHO is real stupid. In halo MCC if you just bump a player you will kill the player. 343i should use the same settings as in Halo MCC when it comes to running over players in a vehicle!

I mean, it’s clearly not impossible. I’ve splattered plenty.
I will acknowledge though that it’s a little wonkier than in other Halo titles, and the grapple makes it a risk to rush anyone with a vehicle. But that’s a good thing, I believe.

BTB is usually your best bet and ghost is probably easiest to splatter with. There’s usually a lot going on in BTB, so try to do a lap around the map and come around the backside where players aren’t expecting you. Watch for players jumping because you can get an easy splatter as they are landing. Here’s a clip of 4, easily could have been 5, splatters with a ghost.

Especially the Warthog will run itself over if you try to drive over someone.

i’ve ran over plenty of players some even on my team because, I ain’t got no time for that… I’ve even gotten splatters with the mongoose and banshee…
You not being able to run people over does not make splaters impossible. Other people being better than you is not a reason to remove these challenges either. If we operated by that logic than all the “get kills with ___” “get headshots” “get wins” should be removed because some lack the ability to preform anything that would even slightly qualify as a challenge.
With that said I understand the need to vent and this is a better place then some to let out a little steam.

But seriously, the ghost and boost works best for me. BTB map and just run circles around the map. Perhaps bait a jump then boost from 1 meter away.
But I totally agree that the warthog is complete trash to get splatters. I don’t expect Halo CE “vehicle touch of death”, but come on. I have taken people with me for about 50 meters not killing them on the hood of the hog.
Chopper kinda is hot trash, air vehicles too fragile for too many splatters.
Hell I can even run over ppl with the ducking goose better than the floaty float foam warthog.
Lol, no it’s not. As a matter of fact I’ve splattered plenty of people with a mongoose, which was impossible in previous installments (in my experience).
