Impossible to find games after update

Before the update I would find games within a minute, now it’s impossible. The game does find players but it fails to connect to session and just repeats the process again and again for eternity.

Anyone else experiencing this? Do 343i test their updates or?

Seriously there are many that will probably be getting this game for Christmas (myself included) but at this point it looks like the multiplayer is still unplayable for most. At this point it is like 343 is just giving us the middle finger because my favorite mode Big Team Battles will probably still be unplayable but "Oh you didn’t get it before December 19 and although it still isn’t working you wont be getting anything for free. HAHA!"

i searched for a few games on lunch break found 3 games real fast .

Had the same problem, I’d get stuck at “Searching for players”. Hard reset your xbox by holding down the power button for a few secs until it turns off then turn it back on.

The amount of people that still don’t do this as their first option baffles me. This solves like 90% of the issues you might face after a patch.

Becuase the last time I tried that, I couldn’t sign in or play any games for several hours.

Same here. I was having a easier time finding a match after every patch before this one. The previous patch before this one, i was no longer experiencing unbalanced teams. And then this patch hits and my problems have returned. Slow matchmaking times, “Failed to connect” messages and unbalanced teams.

For everybody, connection settings. Disconnect net (look down/left on screen) connect again and try to search.

If you are having issues just restart game. I have had any issues finding a game since like the first 3 weeks it has been out. Now I find games in a minute or less.
