Impossible Medals!

Anyone tried to obtain every medal in every play list? It’s not easy. If you have tried this, you have most likely come across a couple that seems impossible to obtain given the current offerings. I know the medal offerings are the same for every game type, so it doesn’t necessarily mean they were all intended to be obtainable, but here is a list of what I have come up with. Anyone have one of these? I’m curious to know. Did I miss one? Anyone have ideas how to achieve any of these?

Matchmaking -

Mmmm… Brains: Kill 10 Humans as the zombie without dying. Currently we don’t have a living dead playlist that has 10 humans alive at any given time
Thriller: Kill 15 Humans as the zombie without dying. See above

Firefight
Unfrigginbelievable: Kill 1000 opponents in a row without dying. Currently playing a FF Arcade game solo, you’ll get around 400, or a little more
Inconceivable: Kill 500 opponents in a row without dying. I don’t think anyone has this, but I suppose if you shoot the guns off every phantom, get a bunch of drop pods, vehicles and one kick -Yoink- bonus round, MAYBE, but I doubt it
Spawn Spree – Not available
Wingman - Not available
Broseidon - Not available
Skyjack – Currently we cannot jack a banshee, but that would be awesome on Holdout. Wait, who am I kidding, a teammate would absolutely betray you.
Wildcat Destabilizer: Destroy a generator with the help of your team in a firefight session. Its just not possible

FireFight Versus (if you didn’t play it during its short lived life, you wouldn’t have any of these, these are a list of medals that were once possible, but are no longer obtainable)

Bulltrue: Kill an opponent that is in the act of a sword lunge. Even if you do this to the AI you don’t get the medal
Revenge: Kill the opponent responsible for your previous death. Doesn’t work with AIs
Pull: Kill a jetpacking opponent. Doesn’t work with AIs
Avenge: Avenge a teammate’s death. Doesn’t work with AIs
Avenge Me: Avenge a teammate’s death. Doesn’t work with AIs
Protector: Save a teammate by killing his foe. Doesn’t work with AIs
Bros till the end: You were saved by a teammate. Doesn’t work with AIs

Simple answer: You can’t get them.

They use the same badge template for custom games and matchmaking and they can be obtained in customs games just not matchmaking and they didn’t change the badge template for matchmaking because it was to hard for whatever reason.

You have to start most or all of the rounds as a zombie, and never die.

Nope, it’s more like 120. This medal is only available in custom firefight on a local network anyway.

Yes we can, they just never come close enough in firefight.

Where else would you spawn when you die in co-op campaign? And why include anything in your rant that you admit yourself that you don’t know about?

These might be available, I rarely play co-op campaign. But what I know for sure is that some medals are awarded without being shown on the left side of the screen–for example, whenever you kill a Moa or a Golden Ranger Elite. The game won’t display the medal, but the medal will show up on bungie.net.

Kill streaks reset each round, Banshees can easily be EMPed or jetpack, Generators arn’t in FF MM, The rest you just can’t get.

I challenge you to find 5 people with any of these badges.(Probably 1 or 2 who modded or glitched badges)

Like I said…you have to play firefight in a custom game, local lobby. Not matchmaking. I realize this means you won’t see the medal on bungie.net, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get it.

Even if I wanted to take the time to scour bungie.net to look for this, who’s to be the judge on whether or not they modded and glitched?

And this whole thread was “Medals you can’t get in Matchmaking” so all your responses along the lines of “You can get it in local/split screen” are pretty useless.

The only way to get the medal is to destroy the generator as an elite and you currently cannot be an elite in firefight matchmaking.

The reason I challenged you is because all these medals you said are possible to get are impossible (even gave reasons why some where impossible) so if you wanted to keep saying these impossible medals are possible, Prove it.
(the reason I said find 5 people is because you might find one person who glitched it, and just the fact that no one has these medals should prove to you that there impossible)

actually, although it is extreamly rare, there are around 20 people or so that have the bulltrue and revenge medal in the campaign mode. they don’t know how they did it, but a couple supposedly have guides, but i can’t think of any of their names off top of my head. it has something to do with the enemy ai killing another enemy ai thatks in the act of a sword lunge at you…

You CANT jack a banshee in FF. You can try to emp one with the PP but you wont get the “hold X to blah blah” message. There are several Banshees in campaign as well you cant jack. FF Banshees using the same settings. The trick from ODST doesn#t work either cauz you cant see the pilots feet (Reach Banshees have sealed cockpits).

Funkadelic is another impossible medal.

Even if all players use the Pestilence effect it won’t give you the medal on Bungie.net.

Corrected it isn’t impossible to get but it is considerably the hardest possible medal.

Where did I say that Living Dead had to be in local split screen? Yes, it’s highly unlikely that anyone has ever gotten a Thriller or even Mmmm…Brains, but the fact is: you CAN kill humans as a zombie, sometimes you WILL start all rounds as a zombie, and you CAN run away from humans if you think you’ll die, to come back later and get them. Possible, yes. Easy, hell no.

If they’re impossible then why are there slots for them? Maybe a better question would be, did Bungie just copy/paste each page of medals into each game mode page?

Okay, let me break it down for you since it doesn’t seem like you’re acknowledging what I’m saying.

  1. Go to the main menu.
  2. Select FIREFIGHT (not matchmaking).
  3. Set the game to last for however many rounds it takes to kill 1000 opponents.
  4. Customize the game settings to make it easy to win, because it will be a bit tedious (bottomless clip, faster running, higher jumping, immune to headshots, or hell even full invincibility if you’re feeling froggy).
  5. Play your custom firefight game and kill 1000 enemies without dying.

Yes, the Unfrigginbelievable medal is possible. It’s just not possible in Firefight Matchmaking, because that only lasts for one round. So obviously, this must be done in a custom game on a local network (e.g., your 360 console only), not in matchmaking. Due to the game not being done in matchmaking, you won’t see the medal on your b.net page, but you will see it when you earn it in-game.

Agreed. Easiest in campaign or firefight, but good luck trying to get it in matchmaking. It would have to be a lot of luck.

Do you see the quote where it says they never come close enough? I have attempted many times to EMP one while jetpacking toward it but Firefight settings are such that the pilot loops away. Hell, even shooting it once is enough to make the pilot do the barrel roll. Hence, I have never managed to get one. But since the medal is on the firefight page on b.net, I assume that there is some way to do it. Why give the community a goal that is unattainable? Bungie takes enough flak as it is just on the TU issues.

You cannot board a banshee in Firefight no matter how hard you want to believe it’s not a matter of how close you get its IMPOSSIBLE! I can EMP a banshee get it trapped in a room let it get out of EMP and try and board it from every angle it doesn’t matter because it’s impossible trust me.

Can you get Unstoppable Force in matchmaking (kill 15 players in a row as the Juggernaut). In the past as soon as you killed 10 players as the Juggernaut it ended the game because you had won.

Not sure if they changed that (actually not even sure if Juggernaut exists in any playlist).

I checked all these medals on HaloCharts, no one has obtain any yet.

I think inconceivable in possible in firefight. I have play FF Doubles, solo on Holdout and Courtyard. Both times I got 400 kills without dying, but I really can’t seem to get any higher.

Last night I did a couple FF Doubles (on Beachhead) with a friend, and we both got over 250 kills each. So, I think 500 kills without dying is possible, it’s just going to be very hard. I’m going to give it a try tonight after work.

I thought there was a glitch to grab a bulltrue in campaign.
