How do you expect gamers to get achievements if you never give us the playlists to even TRY and get them?! I have played Team Objective for about a month straight to try and get 1 Flag CTF on Condemned so I could ATTEMPT to get the “Don’t Touch That!” achievement. Not only have I never been given the option for this game type, I’ve only seen the Condemned map come up once! You set up an achievement that can only be gotten by playing on one map!
I love Reach and I’m looking forward to Halo 4! I would just like to get all the Reach Achievements before Halo 4 comes out. Is there anything you guys can do??? LONG LIVE 343!
Unfortunately, the only feasible way to get the achievement would be to go in with a completely full party of 10 and have someone delete all of their map packs besides Defiant, then hope the gametype comes up.
If there’s one achievement thats impossible, its All Alone. For some reason after moving to Living Dead. I could not in the life of me find that map. I always run into, Uncongealed, Uncaged, Sword/Spooky Base, Countdown, Boardwalk and Powerhouse

Yes! This is the last achievement I need and I tried getting it for months…
I have been trying to get those ones too for the dlc’s but yea your still able to get them, but it will take some time to get now than you could before they took the dlc playlists away.
I’m having the same problem with both Anniversary Map specific Achievements, and Defiant ones. They need to up the frequency of DLC maps in regular plalist in the next update, and severely limit the frequency of Forge World variants, in all playlists. Even when not working towards achievements, I never see DLC maps anymore. Never should have removed the majority of the Anniversary playlists or DLC ones.
Furthermore, the infection ones are even harder to get, because in some games, you might not even spawn as Human, or as Flood, depending on which achievement you want. Luckily this is changed in Halo 4! Let’s hope it works!

The algorithm is as good as it can be, the severe lack of DLC owners impacts your ability to play the DLC maps.
As for an update to try and make the algorithm better, it wouldn’t make the slightest difference, a majority of the players will have moved over to Halo 4.

Yes, shame they got rid of the anniversary playlists, then there wouldn’t be a need for the algorithm.
Anyone who needs achievements can send me an FR on XBL, i’m organizing a big group to get them with. If you only need one you will be expected to stay and help with other peoples achievements though.
