A couple days ago, my brother and I played Custom Games on Isolation. We stayed in the flood cave area and didn’t return above ground for about 2 hours. After we hit the 2 hour mark, we heard the Gravemind yell, which shook the screen and killed both of us. What is this? I’ve seen it twice. I swear, this isn’t bull. I think it was due to camping inside the area, but I’m not sure. I am the first to discover this, and it isn’t on the web (Probably because nobody plays Isolation for 2 hours). Anyone else experience this?
I dont dout it because i never seen it but anythin can happen
If this is legit, I highly doubt it’s a method to stop camping… A Halo game doesn’t naturally last two hours…

Do you happen to have this recorded or saved?

No. I don’t, but I can describe it to you. I had NO updates on my xbox, so the film didn’t save after it was updated. The screen gave an effect like it does in campaign when he is talking to you. It slowed us down, you can even ask my other witness, I know he remembers. We used to discuss it a lot, it’s a really confusing thing. If you want to ask him, message him on Waypoint. He is SN4K3Y3S. I only have one account so this isn’t me.
Afterwards was the Chupacabra unlocked as a playable character?
I don’t know about this? Maybe someone hacked your Xbox and made this happen? I don’t know how that happened.

I don’t think it was because of hacking

Whatever. And character? Do you even play Halo?
This is probably an Easter Egg that nobody has probably found yet except for maybe you. There are some games that have Easter Eggs that had to be revealed by the game developers. Recently the makers of Batman released a video of a Easter Egg that relates to the new Batman game Arkham Knight. In Arkham City the Calendar Man is locked up in a cell in the courthouse. Whenever you go to visit him on a holiday he’ll say some special dialogue that relates to whatever holiday it is. As it turns out if you visit the Calendar Man on the date in which the gaming studio that made the Arkham game was founded you’ll discover that Calendar Man makes a reference to Arkham Knight. No gamer had found this out so the gaming studio put up a video of it under a fake Youtube account that they had just made. I can imagine Bungie never bothered to acknowledge this Easter Egg because either they figured someone would find this Easter Egg like all the others or the fact that they’re no longer in control of the Halo franchise. Was this exactly after two hours? What was the game type? Were you literally in the cave the whole time? I’ll try this myself with a basic slayer game type and unlimited time. I’ll report my findings and if this is all true I will make a video of it.
Right now I’m an hour in and nothing has happened so far. I’ve stayed in the cave the whole time only venturing out as far as the cave entrances/exits and I’ve popped all the flood spores that can be shot. I’ve tried doing some research into seeing if there’s been any other accounts. The only thing I could find was on Halo wikia when you search Isolation. Under the trivia subtitle there’s this: In an interview, IGN asked Tyson Green if “there’s an interesting thing that happens when you play Isolation for a while…” in which he responded “There is, but I don’t want to spoil it.” Many speculated that Flood would eventually spawn in the level. It has since been revealed that small Flood Pods form in the upper areas of the map and the grass seems to become covered with Flood spores, though it does take a while for this to occur. But after a while, it goes back to normal." I’m not sure how long in to the game this is, but I’m giving this a maximum of two and a half hours. Whether or not the Gravemind does exist on this map I will still review the film in theater and see if I can find anything.
I could not find anything. I played Isolation on Custom Games by myself and I literally stayed underneath the caves the whole time. I found nothing except the constant screams/ screeches that come from nowhere when you’re in the caves. The only factors that I think affected the outcome of were me playing by myself and the fact that my Xbox was fully updated unlike yours. I guess the only explanation I have for you is: Aliens.
