Hello people, I’m here taking your attention because I want to make bringingim back firefight a serious petition to 343, but I know that just seeing this post and voting yes isn’t enough, but if we talk to our friends and they do it so, we can make a chance to make a voice from the comunitty big enough to be heared by 343, so i ask you to work all together in order to make this idea strong and make Halo 5 firefight a reality. I think they count but not that much, but if we make thousands of people say yes to a poll it can be more significant
It is nice to have a poll, but what you need is an economic reason for 343 to invest time and effort to bring back a firefight mode. Will competitors bringing out new games like Gears of War or Mass Effect 4 have a Horde/Firefight mode? How many people would migrate from Halo 5 to play those games if they had the firefight mode versus Halo 5 or its sequels not having the mode. If you can get data of this nature, then you might be able to motivate 343 to include firefight as a DLC or in a sequel. Companies such as 343 who are taking over another companies legacy want to leave their mark and do not have the same love of the subject matter as do the fans. They see the dollar signs and are motivated by money. Once you show them how including firefight into a DLC or something of that nature will increase their profits, 343 will then act.

Yeah entire player base pretty much wants firefight but noooo if won’t make 343i money so nope no a thing can’t hear you lalala. Come on 343 think about player enjoyment rather than purely your wallets for once.
This truly benefits the Halo community.
343i, most of the community has been asking for this!! I want to play firefight and not spartan ops… Essentially they were the same but in firefight at least you get to choose your waves.
I wouldn’t mind fire fight, if they added the REQ system in it it could be quite fun in my opinion. Even without the REQ’s it would be fun
If they added firefight to 5 I’d never touch Reach again.

I really hope firefight happens. I really enjoy warzone but it is not a replacement for firefight. I would like to be able to play both in the same halo game.
At a guess id imagine that halo 5 was the xbox one test title where there main objective was to get it to 60 fps and for it to be stable. Now that they have the 1st xbox one title out of the way and they know the limitations that future halos should have more content and hopefully firefight

That would be quite a bit more difficult than adding Firefight.
It seems stupid not to have huge FF levels with req packs what a missed opportunity.

Seriously though, from my completely lamen’s perspective it seems like it wouldn’t be so different than placing spawn points in forge, except these spawn covenant/forerunners. Seems possible it could be easier than re-creating an entire game mode from previous games and the maps to go along with them.

The fact that they did not see value in the mode firefight, and that they do see value in their horrifically bad warzone mode, leads me to believe the leaders at 343 are not capable of intelligent decisions. There are many other reasons that lead me to believe this, but since the thread is about firefight, lets just stick with this. Some of my most fond gaming memories revolve around horde modes in these games like Reach and Gears 3. My family and I loved playing firefight in reach so much that when reach becomes backwards compatible we are going to start playing again. This game mode adds incredible value and life to the game for people who want to just relax and cut through waves of AI in no pressure, non competitive sessions. 343 is leaving less of a mark and more of a stain with Halo 5. I quit playing a week after it came out. The game would be traded if I hadn’t bought it digitally.
