I’m a manager at a GameStop, and just found out that we are running a promotion through December- Whenever you buy an 360, you get 50% off a 3-month card.

Yes, they are.
People need to understand it’s not like each store has a number/quota of reserves for a game they can take, it’s the whole company. So if one isn’t doing it, they are all not doing it.
I would like the console, but I already preordered from Amazon before the Limited Editions ran out. Mine isn’t a Limited Edition, but the point is that I preordered early, so I don’t really need the console, but this does seem to be a good deal for those that are willing to buy the console.
Time to go to Walmart! It seems like nobody goes there for pre orders

From my understanding, and I could and probably am totally wrong. But each company was allotted a certain timeframe or copies count of pre ordering LEs. So gamestop could have reached their allotted copies count of x amount to the franchise or to each individual store. And for smaller retailers they had from Y to Z to take pre orders till they have to give thier numbers in so they could be produced.

Haha so true. I got mine from best buy. But a buddy always pre orders from Wal-Mart because no one pre orders from there
I was thinking about buying the halo4 console but instead I might go with this, since its like $100 dollars less and comes with 2 games and 3month live.
