Just a couple things to recommend:
-bring firefight back
-get rid of the halo 4 loadout system-- it destroys the balance and fairness of the game and dissolves the advantage of having a precision weapon (DMR, BR, Carbine, Lightrifle) bring back the loadout system bungie used in halo reach, force people to fight for the best weapons and advantages, like having a DMR, rocket launcher, sniper etc. It gives more flow to the gameplay
-remove the hitscan-- halo was better and more challenging when people were forced to lead their shots… It also proved to require much more skillful
-decrease the damage of the BR,DMR, etc.-- the precision weapons are way too powerful. It’s to a point where 4 body shots and a headshot are just as effective as five headshots-- it devalues the BR/DMR. Now everyone can use them and they don’t have to be good at it… They’re not skill based weapons anymore.
-if you do decide to bring back the halo 4 loadout system, which I highly oppose, don’t add excess levels when there is no point in having them. In halo 4 by the end of level 50, you’ve unlocked all the loadout items and yet there are 130 levels.
-lastly: instead of using number levels, bring back the ranks (lt. Colonel, commander, brigadier) etc. it’s way more realistic
343, I know it’s difficult to follow up bungie’s great work but don’t try too hard…
Give the community what they want “don’t fix it if it ain’t broke” don’t go changing things if they worked in the past. I’m honestly confident that halo 5: guardians will be a hit, as long as you restore balance to the game… We’re all banking on you to continue the experience. I’m a fairly skilled halo player and have had much experience with the games; I notice what I like/dislike in halo 4 based on the more balanced games in the past. I’m a credible source of ideas considering I’m a freak about halo and I’ve played every game. I highly recommend you consider these changes and I hope to see them in the next halo. Please don’t disregard this. Good luck and God Bless
