IMO, Elites shouldn’t even be in multiplayer. It’s too hard to balance them. In a game like Halo, inconsistencies between Spartans and Elites can REALLY hurt multiplayer. I know that there are a lot of Elite fans, but it’s just not wise to include them outside of campaign.

They can do it in the new maps. However, it would differ from the current elites so I don’t think that it is an option.
> The Elites are bigger than Spartans because the Spartans you play as are Spartan IIIs. Some of them are 12-15 years old. The Spartan IIs are in the 30s. If you noticed, Jorge is taller than Noble 6, thats because Jorge is a Spartan II.
So…Carter is a twelve year old?

emile is for sure… thats why he tries to snipe with a shotgun then hides when hunters show up

Elites are naturally as strong as a fully armoured spartan, and posess two hearts. They have signifficantly advanced technology over humans in all areas except for portable shield generators found on MJOLNIR armour. Elites need to be stronger than spartans, it’s just the way it is.
This is one of the good things Bungie did with reach: Elites now eventually have a role in MP. Do you really want elites in swat + snipers back?
LOL
I want something like invasion slayer but without all that weapon deploy zone bs… because every spartan weapon/class is better than the elite equivalent

I doubt they can do this in Halo Reach, but they should certainly do this for Halo 4. Also, Elites did have regenerative health in Halo 2 and 3, and Spartans did too. You just did not notice because the health bar was not visible in Halo 2 and 3. Also, Elites/ Sangheili rule!
well. here’s my proposal:
Make all the gametypes allow elites. Figure out what’s cheap. Figure out what needs to be changed. Figure out what just won’t work with Elites. There you go.

That’s sort-of the point i’m trying to get across.
their height isn’t really an advantage. i’ve been playing as an elite for 8 years in every possible match.
their size is copied from the campaign, where elites are supposed to look giant and terrifying., and they do.
being taller and wider in multiplayer games is never an advantage, it’s the opposite; your hitbox is larger.
go to your reach customisation and check out the size difference between spartans and elites. who is easier to hit?
that’s the reason elites regenerate their health, which can also be ridiculously disadvantageous by the way. in smaller maps, spartans can quickly run from combat and grab a heath pack, elites need to take cover, not get hit for 7 seconds and then it slowly regenerates, only 3.5 health points per second, and they have 79 HP in total.
that’s slower than you think.
also they have the advantage that they look absolutely terrifying.
everything that seems like a downside is there with a good reason, and there’s always upsides to them to make it a fair fight ![]()
the reason why it’s not in the older games is because halo reach generally just better than the older games. fight me lol
i do agree with that elites should be in more gametypes, but why not make your own and gather a bunch of people to play with?
Couldn’t agree more.
