Implement lag compensation for Spartan Ops

Why is it not implemented in the first place? SO is almost unplayable atm. Every action seems to require the host response. I pull the trigger - lag - I shoot. I press a button - lag - I jump. Seriously? Netcode is completely broken.

Yeah Spartan ops is laggy as hell, but if they were to add lag comp, they need to keep it specifically to spartan ops. Lag compensation would wreak havoc on regular playlists.

Been like this since Halo 3 and since I only play Halo with people across the pond, I can never fully enjoy the Campaign or Spartan Ops in Coop.

Lag compensation is already in war games. Otherwise, it’d be just as laggy.

I never understood what’s the point of drastic differences in coop and MP netcodes. But it was never as bad as in Halo 4. Probably, ping/region filter worked better.

I’m also confused. CSHD is a part of it and it’s in war games.

I’m obviously not noticing it then because they actually did a good job implementing it LOL. BF3 you could definitely tell it was there and it was implemented horribly.

It’s definitely there. You don’t need to predict and lead your shots. They’re detected on your side.

BTW is it safe to habitually quit SO games? Probably only 1 out of 4 is playable for me.

I hope they do add it, completely given up on SO matchmaking and every time a friend asks me to join there game I cringe.
