I think game modes like Jenga, fat kid and trash compacter deserve some life in halo on Xbox one. A lot of newer player may not realise what people have done with custom games and having modes like these in multiplayer is a great way to introduce them into the silliness of custom games
How about they have a playlist section called Customs or Community which has the most popular custom gametypes such as Fatkid, cops and robbers etc as playlists.
It would be really cool if they re-designed Action Sack so you when you play, whether or not it’s a team or FFA setting game is dependent on the gametype that gets voted. It would show the arranged teams in the lobby, just so you know what they would be, but an FFA natured gametype would play as FFA.
Anyone remember Death race, sitting ducks, or Saw(Halo 3 trap maps)?
NASCAR and Indiana jones in halo reach?
Halo 4 has some incredibly fun custom games as well
How about an actual custom games browser? Either way, you all have to remember that we’d require the return of all the options cut from Reach and Halo 4 to have decent custom games again.

That would be harder to implement because everyone has preferences so there will be a good chance you will dislike the custom games that you are in. There is a website dedicated to halo custom games to help find people and they even have a app. Having custom game modes in mp only takes you a second to join so you don’t require to browse through all these custom game lobbies.

That’s why search parameters would have to be implemented, down to the map and gametype. Lobby names would be useful as well, along with simple passwords (or invites) for closed lobbies (remember those practically useless privacy settings, Open, Friends Only, Closed?). A proper custom games browser (including all the options we’re missing) would definitely improve the stagnating Halo series and breathe new life into custom games, which have been lagging behind.
It wouldn’t be that difficult to implement, either. Matchmaking is too restrictive for the best custom games and if the next game is good enough, the population will stay high enough for a browser to be viable. Then again, even if the population is low, the browser would still work as it would be an easy way later on in the game’s lifespan for players to play and interact with the few still hanging on.

Ok fine I like this idea as well

After a solid decade of people asking for this exact feature to be in an Xbox Halo game maybe it will finally happen.
