An easy way to gain immortal medals is to get a full fireteam and play the new extermination game mode in social arena. Because it’s social it is unranked so you’ll be going up against easy players and it is a modification of breakout. Because it is a modification of breakout you can earn immortal medals but the great bonus is you can die and still earn them. You can do this by making sure you are alive at the end of each round (meaning you must win) and the game will register you as not dying (deaths will appear in statistics) as in the normal breakout mode you only have one life.

I also find ‘against all odds’ commendation easier to complete in extermination

Exactly!! I mostly have to play solo due to non of my Friends play Halo 5 anymore, and I’m basically the Only Australian in my Spartan Company.
Its better off being ranked in my Opinion

It is actually a lot easier to get immortals in Extermination than in regular breakout. I think I’ve gotten at least 15 in the last few days. Definitely recommend it if you’re grinding for the opus.
So where do I find these easy players of which you speak? In my experience thus far, Extermination is easily the sweatiest playlist beyond HCS right now lol.

Right on. I haven’t played it yet, but the who’s who of Halo Youtube and Twitch are all about this right now. Golng in with a full team or mostly full party and wrecking people. Its pretty fun to watch.
