Immensely bored at this point

I must say I’m bored every time of playing Halo 4 its the same thing over and over and doesn’t bring any excitement to come back and now I see why the population has left and the rest are forces into something they dont feel te enjoyment out of Examples below:

No social and ranked playlists.
No 5 second timer gave us instant respawn
No X above allies death
No DMR nerf getting rid of aim assists an magnetism
No 1/flag or Assualt playlists
No in game CSR tons of people want something to gain after winning or achieve or even have something to work for to ahow for instead of be giving something for doing absolutely nothing
No de scope instead of flinch

I mean c’mon 343i I’ve been on the forums since I’ve purchased your $60 game and some payed $100 to have a game to have fun on instead were being forced to play a game like Call of Duty.

Take a look 343i your obviously not doing the right thing and making bad choices.

Halo 4 needs to go back to its roots very soon it should be played like Halo: CE, Halo 2, and Halo 3’s gameplay not Call of Duty gameplay it does NOT work’

Find another game. Go back to older Halos. No one is forcing you to play.

> its the same thing over and over

If you want diversity, play other games.

The reason why you think Halo is boring and that it’s the same thing over and over again is because it literally is the same game over and over again. All the way from Halo 1 through Halo 3 and onwards. That’s what Halo, and every other game like Call of Duty, or Battlefield suffers from.

I suggest trying different games. Like Borderlands 2, or TF2. As they say, variety is the spice of life.

At this point it’s just the MM system that is ruining this game for me. It’s impossible to win games searching solo.

i wouldnt say the game was ever boring to me, perhaps monotonous at points but i always create daily goals for myself so no day is ever boring. the new map pack has completely changed that feeling though. i can play just the map pack dlc for 8 hours a day each day and never feel bored once. i guess its all in how you approach the game that determines if you get bored easily or if your enjoy and appreciate the smaller differences found throughout

Yes, tell more players to leave instead of trying to actually get the problems fixed.

I get your point but, I don’t care to spend anymore money on games I have a few games I play and it looks now I have 2 call of duty games and no Halo. I just want something to look forward to after work and have fun and its not there. Sorry

Try freeware indie games then.

I get your point I’m the same way having to go in solo and get destroyed by alot because bad kids then destroying them with MLG kids its like we have no close matches its the same everytime. Very frustrating

People seem to forget that there are a lot of people who only play Halo.

Why would I buy an indie game if I went and spent $60 on a game like CoD which I already have Mw3 and I don’t want to play a game like that but, halo and it isn’t there. Your point makes no sense but saying you and about few other will care for the franchise being the game pretty much lit up in flames after they’re decisions for the game.

> People seem to forget that there are a lot of people who only play Halo.

Then that’s their problem. They complain about not having variety but then stick to only one game series? That’s just ridiculous.

That’s kinda what’s been happening for the last 10 years. The same exact games and fights every time. Anytime someone suggests variety or making people happy they’re immediately attacked by people who hate change and don’t understand why change benefits them as a human being.

I have a gametype in Reach you should try out. Makes the DMR a variable but non-dominating weapon.

Call of Duty is the same crap over and over again every single time. I’m thinking of going back to forza. Halo 4 is still pretty boring so I will agree mostly with the OP. Try either halo wars or sitting watching the dashboard until it goes to sleep and then powers off, both are currently more fun than the latest game.

To me at least the thing that stops me from playing is the lack of anything to play for. I don’t care if it is halo 3 or halo reach but those gave something to aim for.

Halo Reach still has a decent population with classic and competitive playlists.

Just throwing it out there.

There’s nothing new about Halo 4. Halo Reach was original, only other FPS doing armor abilities at the time was Crysis, correct me if I’m wrong.

The game has just changed into a different form, not a new one. There’s no “variety” to this game.

I’d love to see some change and innovation. I just don’t agree with the changes Halo 4 has made.

I see a troll here.

Your logic is terrible maybe you should be on board with 343i with your attitude of well if you don’t like it go play something else because we don’t care the population is pretty well gone at this point.

You don’t need to “buy” freeware indie games because they are free.

I used to be a huge Halo nut, and I wanted everything Halo. I wanted to play Halo and only Halo. Then I realized that if I continued to play Halo only, it would get old real quick, and that I would enjoy Halo less and less because it’s no longer giving me the fresh experiences that I once enjoyed, thus I broadened my gaming experience so that I can give myself a little variety so that when I go back to Halo it’ll be fresh again.

That is exactly what I did before I started to complain “I’m sad because I don’t get enough variety!”.

I mean, wouldn’t you get sick of your favourite food too if that was the only thing you allowed yourself to eat?

So my logic is terrible, yet you complain you don’t get enough variety when you restrict yourself to one, maybe two games and even ignore my advice to play freeware indie games?

And I’m the troll? Right, I tried helping you enough, you’re just another one of the many gamers who won’t take advice and will simply spit back into the faces of those who try to help. You can have fun with your thread as it dies because it seems you’ve already made up your mind. You don’t want variety. You’re just another gamer that I used to know.

No, I’m saying if the game was good the population would be way higher then it is instead its dwindling down fast so it isn’t Halo it’s a CoD like game.

If the game were good i wouldn’t mind playing this all day long. This is not the case the games not good and its strongly going down hill.

Maybe the problem is this: the originality that halo used to have just isn’t there anymore. And that’s just how it is. Like it or not.

The additions to halo 4 MP are in no way original or innovative. I don’t want to sound insulting here. I still play the game after all. But I feel that halo is now danger of being a victim of its own success.

Its a cash cow. Originality is probably avoided at this stage of a mega franchises life cycle. Ordnance, loadouts and “perks” are just concepts borrowed from other games that make halo look like a wannabe copy cat.

Its ironic considering how many mechanics other fps games borrowed from halo.
