The core play of Halo has changed, significantly though. Itâs not as simple as just hoping on for some fun. They have changed imperative Halo mechanics. Disregarding ALL cosmetics, this game is broken on a functional level.

A part of me thinks, 343 doesnât want to make Halo⌠but move on like Bungie did.
As for the store, the price they ask for the content given is pretty funny. They need to add a lot more if they want someone to buy it for that. Most items in the store should be 2 to 5 dollars.

No, it is not. It plays good, save for a few pesky bugs. From what I am told, Call of Duty games are functionally broken right now. Battlefield 2042 is, and that one looks fun nonetheless.
I think that a lot of those who type up âcriticismsâ have absolutely no idea what youâre talking about. There are tons of valid positive and negative criticisms of the game. Many here are not.
The simple fun part I dont entirely agree with either. Classic games are simple and lots of fun. This one takes those mechanics and expands on them better than any title since Halo 3. Isnât as âsimpleâ as you liked, but what is there is foundationally strong. This is coming from someone who has played for sixteen to eighteen years.
I understand where you coming from but if you look in the past of halo 5 and MCC, 343 take there time in adding and fixing problems they have e.i. BTB connection issues. also 343 have already talked about all the stuff you have said âimagine if they addedâŚâ. however I would defiantly like to see most things you have said added to the game at some point.
I mean, they literally sold us MCC knowing it was a disaster. They lied about Halo 5âs story. Iâm not really sure what exactly you mean by this. They have a pretty storied history of lying

Completed the Battlepass just to get the moneyâs worth. I donât think Iâll come back to Halo until all of their blatant failure has been fixed. Especially SBMM. I wanted them to keep their promise for that one thing, that this would be catered to both casuals and competitors alike. It was a slap to the face. If you average 15 kills a game (an average player), it must mean youâre a sweaty Diamond! What an absolute jokeâŚ

Been a spartan since 2001, man. Weâve all got the experience and seniority.
- Ranked isnât Ranked - Thereâs no radar, a foundational mechanic of Ranked Halo playlists. Rank is based on K/D, not overall performance/objective and win/loss.
- There are various game modes bundled together - No true Slayer rank and progression, another core Halo aspect.
- Body-shot TTK is absurd.
- Movement is sluggish without equipment.
- Body-body collision boxes are non-existent.
- There are like 4 viable, non-power weapons.
- Shots donât register and can travel through structure corners.
Shall I continue?

Speak for yourself, I have the best internet I could get and yet 9/10 games I am subjective to playing a lagging broken mess where it does not matter if I perform well or even try since 1v1s become impossible.
The few games I donât have this issue I get an absolutely insane K/D.
This is the only game that I check my network before and after booting up, and after booting up will change my NAT to moderate when it was open before.
Then after I fix it and confirm NAT is still Open it continues to be absolutely terrible.
Yet, I go play any other game I can think of and wonât have any issues at all.

What irks me is how bad the âSBMMâ is, I have over 200 ranked games and roughly a 43% win rate. If I donât play like every game is the âHCS World Championshipsâ I canât carry my âGoldâ or âUnrankedâ teammates when Iâm in high âPlat.â What makes this even worse is there is no true âsoloâ queue, so duos and âunrankedâ players are constantly throwing off the âSBMMâ balance. It feels awful.

Might be Xboxs servers. There are server issues going on thatll get fixed.
Most of my games are fine. There is lag, so youâre right for that.
Why would radar be a big deal? Its RANKEC. Depend on your KD and not performing from looking at the circle.
Bundled playlists they know about. The more we ask, we should get them in time.
There is progression and rank⌠just not what you want. I think we all want the social and ranked ranks back though. Gold, platnum, silver yadayada is fine and all, but has not accurately reflected skill.
Body shot TTK is a bit much maybe. Its not absurd.
Movement is the fastest its been in years⌠I dont know what game youâre playing.
Collision boxes are non existent on developer design. Maybe we can get those back.
Learn the guns. There are more than four viable weapons. Pulse Carbine even has its use, and that one needs buffing.
Not really experienced a registration problem. Its most likely server lag. Structure corners can let shots go through because of that.

Youâre absolutely right. The game isnât the product. The armor color is the product. The cat ears are the product. They didnât make a game to sell to consumers. They made a game to sell digital cosmetic stuff to consumers. This is like habbo hotel, but with spartans.
