the glare from the sniper is not the problem at all.
his problem is more that he not understands that some weapons are not working good on some type map layout’s and some are working good.
and since halo infinite has only close range maps almost nobody is going to use the sniper in team sniper at all there use more the shotgun since its more effect.
what he most do is asking if there adding more long range maps with more open space’s and less buildings then the sniper is good to use.
No. What I don’t understand is why you’re all in snipers in the first place if you aren’t going to use the sniper. This goes for any Halo as well. You guys plays snipers and don’t even use the sniper. Yet in the same breath you’ll complain about the sniper being hard to use.
To be honest, I wouldn’t play team snipers at all if there wasn’t a secondary weapon. Most games of team snipers just end up playing like SWAT for me. I rarely get headshots. Most of my games have one “snipe headshot” medal. So, what do I do? I use the sniper for cross mapping, and the bulldog for stopping someone else from cross mapping. In fact, a shotgun only mode could be fun (maybe put it in rumble pit).
The problem is though, not everyone is able to use the Infinite sniper. It could be one of the hardest snipers in the series.
i not know about you but a lot off players study the map layouts good and learn from it what for type weapons is power full on that type map and what for weapons are crap.
if you know if the map layout is a close range, middel range or long range map type then you know what for type weapons are usefull on that type map.
in halo 3 and halo 4 you have maps that are perfect for the sniper rile type’s.
same in halo 5.
some weapons like the gravity hammer and energy sword are OP on close range maps what halo infinite has a lot.
there are maybe some maps that are close range also good working for the sniper rilfe only that is for people that have master the sniper rilfe weapon.
here is a thing you need in shooter game’s master the weapons good know there weak points and strong points and training hard with it if you wane close the weak points from that weapon.
and the only way to do it is keep playing it and learn from the mistake’s.
i just mean the rate of fire. im certainly not very good at sniping, but the rate makes it very hard for me to get a second shot in before people run away behind something. i may be experiencing the desync as well because i notice the time between my input and the time the sniper shoots feels delayed at some times. i thought maybe i just suck but the more i read makes me feel like its not just me anymore.
will certainly try your suggestions tho and see if it helps anyways
its real hard for me to want to use it due to these two issues, and i used to love sniping in ever other halo
you can get a lot off kills with the shotgun if you know when to fire it and how close the other player most be to make the kill before there kill you.
you need to timing the reloading also good if you are the last one left if you make 1 mistake you lose it.
The point is they’re all using piss poor excuses to justify ruining the gamemode. Even if it were an actual snipers playlist they’re the type to sprint around the map abusing slide and going for melees. The tryhard will never improve at the game, because eventually he’s going to be up against somebody that’s really good with the sniper, and he won’t be able to challenge him, even with scrub weapons.
imagin complaining about people using every option a game offers them within a gamemode. how pseudo-elitist are you?
sure, complain about the playlist, no problem, the game has a lot of flaws. but why complain about people utilizing the stuff they have at their disposal within the playlist?
Beats me! But I never see anybody using them at Diamond to Onyx. Most people just… kinda’ walk by it. I get it, it’s cumbersome and not terribly fun to use.
Especially in Strongholds on Live Fire a good sniper can still be a difference maker. From tower you can dominate C and OS and still peek B.
I definitely see skilled snipers wreaking havoc in high diamond/low Onyx matches. But I suppose it’s kind of specialized since it’s so hard to use. It’s not like the rockets that are dummy-proof. I certainly can’t use it well.
