How bad are you at Halo? Team Snipers is supposed to be a gamemode to not only get better with the sniper, but to warm up for actual ranked matches. So why are there STILL people after all these years not playing the gamemode as intended? I just played two matches only to find the entire enemy team cross mapping with shotguns.
Why am I the only person using the sniper? You aren’t getting any better playing like this. Just because 343 forgot to call it shotty snipers doesn’t give you the green light to play like a complete coconut brain. You willingly, literally, and unequivocally selected snipers to not even use a sniper. You know who you are. Explain yourself. Seriously

maybe its evidence that the majority of players dislike the infinite sniper? i feel its far too slow and chunky so i absolutely hate it. then again most of us prob have dumb challenges making us play this stupid game mode.

Then don’t play snipers. To the people that actually go for challenges like they matter, you have an addiction. No matter what gamemode you players are in it’s an issue. Challenges are one of the worst edition to this series. Just play Halo.

Reading that the last part is kind of funny because I can see this happening often because of 343 poor decisions.
Another messed up thing to add to the mile long list of things 343 did wrong and will leave broken.
Because it’s team Snipers. You’re not getting any better at the game. You’re not getting any better with sniper. Melee should be disabled too

why yes, thank you for grouping anybody who does challenges together. i agree they are super wack, however theres not much else to do. sadly wanting to unlock stuff now for when (if) the game gets better involves doing these things. everybody plays the game their own way. just deal with it like the rest of us maybe? theres nothing we can do, and our feedback is useless.
Infinite’s crazy high strafe acceleration really negatively impacts sniper play imo. I’m surprised I don’t see people talk about the strafe acceleration more. It exacerbates a lot of hit registration issues and makes sniping a headache.

Well one problem is some of the maps are too small for a proper sniper match in my opinion. Second problem for me is the massive light your sniper rifle displays every time you use the scope, it makes the scope almost suicidal. I no scope sniper or veeery briefly use the scope then run for my life. Third, it’s very fun sneaking up on campers and taking them out with a swift back smack or shotty to the head.
Idk why there is even the option. Snipers mean sniper. It should only be snipers

It is broken, but that’s all the more reason to try and get better with it to utilize it when it matters in ranked. Your only gimping yourself by not using it at all ranges.
The sad thing is it always devolves into that. I actually just want a snipers playlist with actual snipers in it.

I honestly get where you’re coming from though. I want SWAT to be BR-only again but it’s now called Tactical Slayer.
