Like… Imagine making a game that actually works through the first major HCS tournament. Its not like they paid a bunch of streamers to stream the tourney or anything. Its not like they hyped this like crazy… Now everyone is tuned in to streams that just show cringe ads and “We will return shortly” graphics.

The game works great and is fun as hell! but I can’t watch the HCS at work.
I gotta say, this is one of the problems with releasing in the holiday window. I get they need a break, and it’s the holidays, but with game development and things always being half broken in the modern era, everyone has to just sit and wait.
Meanwhile the hype dies, and people quit.

I heard about this and I gotta say it’s embarrassing on 343s part. I don’t know it if because Infinite is a live service title or what but yeah. They gotta fix that.
