Imagine Invasion having both CQB and Big maps

I’m mainly going to focus on the CQB part of the title. Now since we don’t really know the enemy for Halo 4, I am going to grab something from the past.

We are going to use the level Pillar of Autumn from Combat Evolved for this. Take some of the key areas from the level and add some extras. CryoTubes, Bridge, etc etc and use all of that as a CQB Invasion map. Elites would start from one of the transports that took the life boat’s spot and the Spartans start off in the the CryoTubes. From there the game can expand from the mind of the creator.

This is just one of the many examples of how 343 can expand Invasion into the new Halo trilogy.

What do you think? Do you think CQB Invasion could work?

I guess if it was a room by room breach and move sort of scenario it would work, but it couldn’t have 6 vs. 6.

I can see where 6v6 could be too much in CQB

Well think about it. It is Invasion so they have to move if they want to win.

Using some key parts fof the Halo Story, would be a nice touch.

Break Point was very good, having to carry the bomb, but I think that standing in a little square for 30 seconds is stupid.

They need to have it more objective style for Invasion to be better.

Have a security door that you need to actiavte the switch (Think Halo 3 HighGorund gate and Halo 2 Zanziba Gate).

You could have the REACH FireFight Generators, that you require to destroy to open the next arear.

Invasion has many many great possibilities.

Please don’t have us stand in an area for 30 seconds, we can do better.
