Just imagine if ODST had its own Multiplayer, yeah, what do u think? Personally, I think this is the least impressive Bungie Halo game, but this would’ve made the game actually worth the $60.
That would have been amazing.
The excellent campaign and firefight more than made up for no multiplayer in my opinion.
ODST was, without a doubt, my favorite game in the series. And personally, I just don’t see how multiplayer would work. It would just be Halo 3 with a couple new guns and a different health system.
Would’ve been interesting, but I’d have much rather had Firefight matchmaking than a competitive mode. Bungie still deserves a giant smack for making such an awesome gametype and then giving you no way to play with people except to manually organize games.
It did. Its multiplayer mode was called “Firefight”, and it was quite exquisite… A nice cooperative mode instead of the competitive ones that spawn so much animosity between players.

Agreed. ODST was my least favourite Halo game.
Still brought it, completed it, and added it to my collection though.

I like what they did with ODST. Love the campaign, love firefight and love the fact that they put all the Halo 3 maps on one disc with it. I wish they did the same with the Reach maps.
I still think ODST had the best campaign out of any halo game as of yet! Totally worth the $60
That would have justified the 60 bucks for the game for most. Since i didn’t have the other maps (outside of the free heroic map pack and cold storage), the extra disk wasn’t useless to me and was more or less satisfied with my purchase.
Though trying to get endure with a bunch of randoms would have been a pain. That’s something you do with your friends, since randoms rage quit, die on purpose to troll or d/c.
I would have enjoyed ODST multi-player. Everyone was an ODST, instead of a Spartan. Heck, maybe even be able to play as Brutes. Would’ve been interesting.
I would have played an ODST multiplayer as well, but I really thought that ODST’s story was very much worth the $60. Plus, I only use the Mythic Halo 3 disc if I play H3 online, so I’d say it was worth it.

My favorite also, I loved health and stamina, jump height, speed, everything, espesially the enjine.
Yes, the ODST enjine and 3 are different, but only a little, but that makes a huge difference to me.
If there was ODST multiplayer, I would stop playing Reach multiplayer.
I would really like to see grab and hold on ODST, on a night map with VISR.

Great idea, if they make ODST 2 (THEY MUST, I AM NOT CRAZY, THEY HAVE TOOOOOOO), it would be the opposite species. Instead of Spartans and Elites, ODSTs snd Brutes. THE BEST HALO GAME OF ALL TIME, will to me at least. I am a true ODST fan. These forums are my number one favorite, untill ODST 2 forums (MUST MAKE).
I wish it would’ve had multi for firefight cuz everyone on my freind list hates halo and are COD’s and Gears. Its all good I still love ODST.
I don’t know about you guys, but ODST had the BEST crouch mechanics in any halo game. THEY WERE JUST AWESOME. play ODST and crouch walk and you might know what i’m talking about

Agreed, although crouching didn’t make much difference once you started shooting your gun, even though it was silenced, it still alerted all enemies in the area sadly.
On-topic: I would have loved ODST to have Multiplayer, even if it didn’t have Matchmaking, it would have been brilliant!
Considering ODST’s mechanics and purpose (To be stealthy and work as a team), I can see a Halo 3: ODST Multiplayer to be a mix between Halo and Rainbow Six Vegas’ Gameplay.
Callouts, VISR, Stealth-Based Weaponary and Dark Maps would be absolutely phenomonal. That would be a Competitive Halo Game that I actually enjoy. All the other Halo Games distract me with their colours and scenery. ODST Multiplayer (Not Firefight) would have been brilliant.
