Because I’m afraid that it won’t be FUN anymore, and that it will be like Reach
Anyone out there feeling me?
Edit: I removed an example of one gameplay element that is worrying me, and everyone seemed to have taken this thread as an Anti Sprint Thread. IT IS NOT AN ANTI SPRINT THREAD
Agreed. Sprint is not going to make Halo 4 a bad game. I would prefer no armor abilities at all but if sprint is in the game then I think I will be okay…I think lol

> For example, we all hate sprint, right? well not everyone does, in fact most people are Expecting to see it in Halo 4. UGH! I am really hoping sprint doesn’t return in Halo 4, but since everyone is all like “Halo needs to catch up” and other vile nonsense, It may be to my misfortune that something like this will be in the game

> Anyone out there feeling me?
Ya, I feel ya. Most of the sprint support doesn’t come from the highest tier of competitive players though. So its w/e. As long as the more important multiplayer game types don’t include it, I don’t really care.

It was fun, but not addicting and absolutely great. NOTHING in comparison to the endless days of Halo 2 and 3. Sprint wasn’t the only thing ruining it pal, it was just an example of ONE of the things that Reach introduced and it’s impact will negatively affect the Halo I love.
If you had a deep love/obsession, you’d play the game regardless.
If you’re spouse gets a tattoo, or changes their hair, you don’t leave them…do you?

I liked Reach. So did many others. Fun is subjective.

Uh if my spouse stopped being the spouse I love than I honestly would be disappointed and Sad (because I DO LOVE HER, not what she isnt) and let me tell you that sprint isn’t Halo.

Its not like Master Chief is going to start wearing nothing but a thong. We’re talking about running faster
Its really small on the grand scale of things that could make or break this game.

If you saw Halo like I do, than yes, it does.
But you don’t want to see the things the way I do, and you won’t try. So why bother arguing, pal?

1.) That would be called “Being a fanboy” or liking something just because it has “Halo” on the cover. Of course I’m not going to play a game and force myself to enjoy if it sucks.
2.) No, because they’re not changing who they are deep down. Armor abilities and Bloom affected core gameplay mechanics. It’s more like if your spouse told you he/she was a satanist who enjoys beating up homeless people and burning down rainforests on his/her spare time.
I’m not worried, I’ve enjoyed all of the halos. They were all fun when I played them. Just to be clear if anyone is thinking about it, I’m excluding halo wars lol.
So halo being fun hasn’t worried me. I love the introduction of assassinations in reach :)!

We’re not talking about all AA’s, bloom, or the other things people hated about Reach. Just sprint. If that one tiny detail is stopping you from continuing a gamer series you “love”, you’re insane.
-As a side note, my spouses religion wouldn’t be a turn off unless she violently tried forcing me to believe in it. As for the other two…those would be pretty terrible

this is about reach, not sprint. that was just an example
This isn’t Halo! It would be like me coming home to my spouse and she was not being the spouse I love, but rather a much different character.
