To be fair, the hate and frustration is well justified. Just don’t get carried away and consider criticism as hate because criticism will always carry a negative connotation. 343 and Microsoft are the two sole figures that should shoulder all the blame, Microsoft for a rushed deadline and 343 for abiding by the deadline and releasing a game they clearly did not test or double check. I definitely don’t think the responsibility is on the consumer to return or be patient when advertisements and press conferences promised the exact opposite of what was released.
What do you expect us to do, just bend over and accept this kind of shoddy game development? For this kind of unprecedented lack of -Yoinks!- given by both Microsoft and 343I, I would expect nothing less from the most dedicated of the community than outrage and hate. They messed up, and we have every right to let them know how frustrated we are. If we don’t, they’ll just do it again and again.

Yeah, Halo fans who purchased this collection have every right to be unhappy with the product. It simply doesn’t work.
Most of the posts I’ve read are very rational and simply expressing frustration with buying a product that’s broken.
343i brought hate upon themselves, it’s not the customers fault.

All of the anger consumers have towards them is rightly justified. Now some have taken it to far like the death threats for instance and bashing of 343i to a serious degree. You’re telling me if you spent $60 on a bike and the brakes don’t work right you’d be okay with it? You bring it to the store to fix them and then the seat won’t stay where you want it, you’d still be okay with it? Everyone who bought this game are consumers who earned their money(Even if the parents bought the game for children, they still worked for the $ to buy it) and bought a product that we were told was “Gold” and would work relatively good. Yeah almost all game launches have bugs/glitches that were unforeseen or weren’t present during testing but, seriously? This many issues? The bugs/glitches we’re having shouldn’t be happening in the damn first place. Constant game and UI crashes, huge MM issues, and numerous achievement problems. Halo’s bread and butter is the MM so any sane person would assume this would have got the most attention and 343i would’ve ensured this above all else was working properly. But, no it was far from working.

I didn’t like H4 and Reach due to gameplay but this is the first time I visit the forum because of the absurd amount of bugs.
Guess 343i really is making Halo the new COD, first the -Yoink- mechanics and now the terrible amount of bugs on launch.

Just for the record, I’m playing Halo online since Halo 2 launch (and H1 on XBC before). No stats here because halo.bungie.net data did not get migrated here. It only counts X360 stats. And I didn’t get this one for myself, thus no stats here.
It is totally possbible that Skids is the same as me; no stats here, though presence on Halo all along.
