I don’t know why but I love it! I know it has many problems like a bad story and there is no split screen but… It’s still amazing! I mean it’s gameplay is awesome! The same with graphics! They add smart link and many more things. Don’t forget about Warzone! I think Halo 5 is great game and sure it’s not perfect but so what? Nothing is perfect! I think the real reason people doesn’t like it it’s because it’s not like old Halo(s). But seriously guys Halo will not be like before again! But that’s not a bad thing! Let’s wish 343 Industries will fix the most of bad things Halo 5 had and they will make Halo 6 the best Halo of all time! Don’t disappoint us 343!
Halo 5 is a good game but servers can be annoying
Y’see this, guys? I too, same the same mindset as this guy when it comes to Halo 5. It may not be the perfect Halo game, but it’s still fun as hell.
Its my favorite multiplayer in the series. I love this game.
It’s a good game IMO but I can’t use the words I love it.
This game is my favorite. Spartan abilities are really nice. Playing the older titles (campaign) makes me wish I could clamber and sprint. Nade and crouch jumps were a pain, not to mention “How Pedestrian” achievement without sprint. The map was so huge without entering a vehicle you have to tape the left joystick in the forward position and go take a nap. The only thing I don’t care for in H5 is the back to back JIP games, and as of recent the lousy spawn locations. (WZ)

I can see why people can hate this game, but it really annoys me when the sole reason is because it isn’t a carbon copy of Halo 3. Like really? It reminds me of how I refused to play the newer Pokemon games as a kid even though they were better in every single way (not saying that’s the case with everyone, it just reminds me of this).
Either way, this game is one of my favorites, especially in terms of gameplay.

The campaign is a little lacklustre, especially after that amazing introduction cutscene with Fireteam Osiris… but overall the game itself is awesome. Gameplay is massively improved, glorious 60fps, aiming down sights, (finally), and many other improvements. There are some things I think they did better in previous Halos, but for the most part this game is a vast improvement. My personal favourite campaign was Halo 2 though, so seeing it remastered in H2:A was incredible. Blur did a tremendous job with those cutscenes. It was like watching a movie, and it really made me appreciate the original game for what it is, too.
For people that whine that Halo is going downhill, or that 343 don’t care about it, I say “QUIET, YOU.”

Yeah the game definitely has plenty of problems, especially the story, but I find it hard to believe that people hate every single aspect about it. At this point people are just blindly hating on it without any reason, along with anyone that happens to have a different opinion.
I LOVE Halo 5’s Forge, and the custom games browser is very nice. I also really like having a fairly constant 60 FPS, but aside from that I wasn’t really impressed and even disappointed in some ways. I can’t really say I love it, especially since all my friends left, so I hope I can say I love Halo 6!
Campaign… not the best
But I agree, the H5 multiplayer is by far the best imo. The servers can be a tad horrid, but it’s very fun and has lots of replayability

No. I wish people would stop thinking that everyone who likes classic Halo only hates H5 because it’s not a copy of the originals. Yeah, I wish it was similar to the originals, but that’s not the sole reason why I don’t like it as much.

I bought my first XBox only because of Halo CE. I got XBox Live only because of Halo 2. I stood in line for Halo 3 and got hooked on Halo: Reach with my wife. Halo 5 is now my favorite Halo as far as multiplayer goes.

If I wanted a game to be like another game, I’d just go play that game.
A lot of the bad things in Halo 5 is transitioning away from what we had before, or “old Halos” as you call it.
I don’t even know what you considered the “bad things” of Halo 5 are, but I’m pretty sure whatever problem it is was handled in the “old Halos”

I have never once seen a request for a carbon copy of Halo 3. It’s odd to me that we can read the same forums and threads about the disappointment in Halo 5, and come up with two different ideas.
I can’t actually say I love any one particular Halo over the others. I just love Halo. I have yet to play a Halo multiplayer that I truly love. I think it is more important to give 343 honest feedback and constructive criticism. They get my support by buying, playing, watching HCS, and just being a part of the community.
If Microsoft hadn’t rushed it so badly, it would have been a great game. The content we got later down the line should have been there at release, and I don’t think for a second that 343i were the ones who made the decision to postpone content. That was Microsoft scrambling to compete with Sony by releasing half of Halo 5 (and they even butchered that half, 343i are great storytellers when given creative freedom) and then foolishly believing that making players wait for several months to receive content that should have been included at launch would sustain the game.
Multiplayer is awsome but campaign is not the best.But i love this game.
