Title says it all. Doesn’t really matter whats been going on durning the day; I just start up a match and all is right in the world.
To anyone that has enjoyed this great game type I say “good game”.

Great Game!
A good Invasion game was a great game of Halo: Reach. A great Invasion game… I’ll leave that to your imagination. Invasion is truly a great mode when all works right.
That said, when things go wrong, Invasion is more frustrating than anything.
Played over 200 Matchmaking Invasion games with only 14 losses and only a K/D of 1.5
Most teams we come across seem to only want to spawn kill against Randoms… I enjoy surprising them with a swift decisive victory. 93 % wins, love Invasion

Yeah invasion is so awesome.
Invasion still has some shine left in it. Couple of problems that will never be addressed now but whatever, I guess that’s what it gets for being popular.

Doesn’t really have to have Elites in it to be a great idea gametype. Just needs the progression though the tirs.

Of course I’m not great. But my team is. 93% wins out of over 200 games played.
Hell. Last time I lost a Invasion game was because I got invited to play with this guy who calls himself “the best” because he has the highest site score on HaloTracker.com but all he does is go for kills and abandons the fight if things look tough. He may have one of the highest site scores and K/D’s in the world but my when percentage is up there with top 100 in the world. Never said I was great but I’m proud to play with players like my teammates who are focused on the WIN.
If I didn’t play with this so called “greatest” and didnt lose that game I would be on a 110 game winning streak. But no, broken. Currently on a 74 game winning streak in Invasion.
So sorry if it sounds like bragging but I see no reason to not be proud and thankful that because of great teammates I hold number 63 spot in halo tracker’s leader boards for invasion win percentage in the world. I could have never got there on my own. I am a support player, top 50% Gold Division in Arena at best. So yes, not an amazing player but I try. My team pushes me not only to try, but to win. I don’t care if I personally am not great but proud as hell of my friends.
But as far as the recruiting forum, I’m there. My main description though is I will add any owner of all DLC… When it comes to invasion, I doubt I’ll ever find players who could work like a team as we do and get along. So, no thanks.
Invasion was the best thing about Reach, hands down. I always wondered why it never really got changed by either Bungie or 343i which always bothered me, as it really did deserve some special attention, even if it was great as it was.
It helped make Breakpoint the best map in the game, it was the best way to play with a team, it was the most balanced mode in the game…ah, I could go on.
I think however, my favourite memory was a game on Boneyard with my regular team, where we tactically skunked out the other team, and celebrated in such a glorious way…like this.
I LOVE Invasion! Why? Because its the only gametype on Reach or any other Halo game where people can switch back and fourth from being a Elite and Spartan without any complaints and it’s fun! Spartans vs Elites, Elites vs Elites, Spartan vs Spartan. Gotta love it! <3

Um, it’s impossible to brag when your a good player. And Waypoint does not have ‘Classifieds’, as I recall. Isn’t that on Bungie.net?

It does have the recruiting section… I assumed thats what he meant.
Either way, players like him are the reason why I love my stats. He gets more then twice as many kills in Invasion per game than I do… yet I have a higher win percentage. Just gives you a hint at who goes just to spawn kill and who goes for wins. He played hundreds of games more than I have, so I don’t doubt that he thinks I suck… So what, I love Invasion and what I love about it is WINNING. And only less than 100 people in the world get better win percentages than I do. That aint bragging, thats just what is.

I play invasion solo for the challenge. I get those kills and get the objectives. I am often the reason my team wins, because I both take objectives and slay players. I am not concerned with leader board standings. I was pointing out before that coming onto multiple threads and taking about your high k/d is not important.
OT: If they would fix a few of the problems in invasion it would be a better experience but it was a novel and interesting take on objective game play.
