Well today was my breaking day where I finally started to understand why people have stopped playing this game and are uninstalling it. I got on to work on some of my challenges today and it was a nightmare to say the least. I could write a book with all the issues I encountered today and it would be a waste of everyones time but the overall inconsistencies in this game still are astounding. The fact that your melee can still whiff half the time but yet the other guy at the same distance can hit it and lunge at you drives me up a wall. Combine that on top of no matter what ping I’m on the game still feels jittery and delayed at times, and this happened on 12ms games. I hate to dog pile on the game but just the numerous inconsistencies at this stage is pushing me to join the group of people who just dropped it altogether.
I was so ready to give halo another chance but saw we are still on season 2 and the event is meh so I go to boot up the campaign and what would you know as a gamepass ultimate sub it is asking me to buy it lol I did so much troubleshooting even support said it was maybe fixed and asked me to check if it was on my end… NOPE. Still can’t play the campaign via game pass
Today I experienced empty rockets for the first time.
man HOW. XD I think rockets that impact people and don’t kill them were the first thing i encountered that clued me into something being off.
It sucks because the game is great on the rare occasions it decides to work perfectly. I started playing in March and I swear things have gotten worse and more inconsistent now than they were then. For one challenge I had to get Rumble Pit kills which I’m not a fan of FFA in the first place but it is an easy enough challenge to complete. So I end up have a match of swords and grapples that almost made me toss the controller through the window, numerous times two of us would grapple at each other and my melee would whiff and they would get some bizarre super lunge. Other times it could be a guy who grappled and was 10 feet in the air above me and apparently if they hit melee they just get the kill being nowhere near me, my body would just drop dead. Also, grenades you still never know what you are going to get, they either blow up under peoples feet and do nothing or you have a mini tactical nuke that destroys everything in a 20 foot radius…its crazy to me.
