After watching a few videos about Halo 5 and the recent gamescom presentation i am just not interested in the multiplayer component of Halo 5. A youtube channel named Favyn shares some of my ideas on the beliefs on the Halo 5 situation. I believe that Halo 5 is trying to bring in new players that just aren’t interested in Halo.
I did play the Halo 5 beta and i did like it but i believe that The original 3 Halo games and Halo 2 anniversary are still far superior. Halo 5 guardians is a good game but not a good Halo game
Ah well I’m still hyped I’m buying the Limited edition console the Master chief controller and limited collector edition my wallet is screaming but my body is ready.

I’m actually looking forward to getting into the MP, especially Warzone. If it does even half what 343i claim it’s going to be a lot of fun. But the campaign is looking like it’s going to just knock it out the park. Hype levels are at max and I believe that this isn’t just going to be a great game, but a great Halo
There shouldn’t be allowed to show so many Halo 5’s gameplays…
Of course Halo 5 is trying to get some new people, and that’s fantastic. It’s very hard new players start to play an FPS where you can’t even scoping, so Halo 5 is trying to become a up-to-date FPS
I’m just stop to see Halo 5 gameplays, cause that could make you sick of Halo 5

That makes me sad to but I am by no means rich I’m going to have to work my -Yoink- off these next few months.

Well that’s how you get people interested in something, is to make new fans. You can’t ride on the coat tails of older fans forever. You gotta get new people interested in Halo.

I don’t think so. Going back to 2007 or 2004 and copying games closely along the lines of what Halo 2/Halo 3 was, will not attract as many new fans as copying games closely to what kids are playing in 2015. I’ve played with a few people who just picked up Halo this year and they’re like “How do I sprint? How do I aim down sights? Why do I walk so slow?” and then they go back to playing Battlefield or CoD.
This is the reality of the games industry unfortunately.

Look at the new Doom. That game has kept the same style of Doom and Doom 2 and is going to be great. Why can’t Halo 5 keep the same style as Halo 1, 2, 3 or even Reach.

We’ll see how well Doom sells. It’s a little early to say “That game is doing that so this game should do that too!”.

Keeping the gameplay simple and having it be more based on custom games and other community features.

I believe it not about the amount of copies being sold but about the amount of actually people playing it after the first few months of release.
