I'm sorry, is anyone still playing this game?

Imagine going on Waypoint and asking this.

I am playing it, but less and less frequently. Becoming more and more baffled by how there is still no progression system outside the battle passes and XP doesn’t do anything. Whyyyyyy is it missing the most basic system that every other shooter and the previous 4 Halos have used to keep players coming back? “We want to take our time and get this right” Uh ok, but it doesn’t look good when this hasn’t been a major hurdle for any other dev…

I play every once in a while. Probably hit training mode for a couple hours.

People just find reasons to give you a bait medal. It’s like they’ve forgotten how to communicate with ‘words’ all of a sudden.

Im sorry because its such a common issue that is brought up here, and I didn’t want to have to be adding more fuel to the fire that’s already bright and hot. But there just seems to be no intent to lighting it out.

Its not polished enough to have to enjoy a consistent time. Its just people’s preference on what they like to play. I, for example, recently now enjoy Master Chief Collection than Infinite currently.

The state of Halo has made me sad since 5 came out with no split screen. Speaking of split screen with the mod tools halo 3 is playable in split screen on pc. Campaign works beautifully, custom games not so much. Been asking for it since launch on pc.
They had added it to the backlog years ago and have been silent since. Tired of waiting https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tAyqzqw9Gi8

Maybe there’s little of people playing Halo Infinite in Asia.
During the Yapyap, I tired to start a game on a Saturday morning and waited about 10mins. Then it told me can’t find enough player to start the game and ended searching.
Comparing with other game I’m playing, I can always start a game in 1mins.

Haven’t really felt much need to, after I beat the campaign recently. Most of the time I’d rather just play MCC.

Yep, and easily find games within 30 seconds so I’m guessing lots of other people are too.

I play it and for all its issues I do enjoy playing it. Generally it doesn’t take me more than a min or two to find a match so no argument there. What makes me not play it as much as I would is that there’s not a ton of content as far as rewards go. I completed the battle pass and now don’t seem to have much motivation to keep grinding for anything

Fortnite is still on there, so take that list with a grain of salt

Not a fan of Fortnite. Played a game or two and that was enough for me, but you got to give them credit. People keep playing it for a reason and I do know they keep adding new stuff all the time.

I was a huge player back in like, season four chapter one, and most of the players from my generation have not returned. It was a blast back then, and I suppose some consider it a blast today. It’s just so… different.

Uninstalled it a month ago. Will probably reinstall when forge launches.

There just isnt enough content.

PS. Breaker is one of the worst halo maps ever created and im sick of pretending its fun. Trash map. Sucks that that was one of the 2 new maps we got since launch.

I started playing again recently and haven’t had much trouble finding matches. What I have noticed is there’s out of nowhere a large amount of players who are literally worse than bots. I mean like two players on my team going 15+ deaths with ZERO kills while the actual bot got about 4 as one honest to god example. The kind of players where you get 2 kills, die getting the 3rd player down to no shields but you watch as 2-3 on your team are on him but somehow can’t kill him, and he either escapes or even regens shield and kills them all. It never used to be like this.

Well, tbf, I’m open to playing it, but I’ve bottled it up until now: I don’t think this game is dead. On the contrary, as I was playing Overwatch 2 on the Switch, but that game has a founder’s pack and Infinite doesn’t, which makes Blizzard insecure for a playerbase that can’t even be able to play without the Battle.net app on their phones (I was trying to get the Xbox version, but that was soon proven to be impossible.)

So, yeah. The more people are talking about it, the better the chance people will play it. Simple as that.

I love halo. But at this point I’m waiting for MW2. I haven’t played a cod consistently since black ops 1 but I am being forced back to them unfortunately.

Will keep playing halo but the frequency will drop off markedly I expect

Don’t mind TotalTeeto117. I think he’s just messing with ya.

LouisFF, however, is completely serious.

I still am because my irl friends are and we play in various Halo leagues.
