I'm sorry, is anyone still playing this game?

Its like everytime I get on, the queue times get longer or I am in that “other players loading” phase for 10 minutes. If it ain’t working, I go on a loop about disconnecting until I alt f4 then join a losing match.

I get many moments where I want to play Infinite to relax, but I always go somewhere else because I know there is going to be a server or player problem. And it sucks since I really want to play. I am at that point where forge doesn’t even matter if you can’t even run a proper 4v4/12v12 without players constantly leaving or unable to join. Their focuses are literally all out of order.

People will continue to drop and at best forge will temporarily boost the game prob purely out of curiosity then die out even more i bet.

Me, I am. It’s probably time of day though for you. Or perhaps no one in your area plays?

It’s not even showing up on the most played games on Xbox…

Not a lot, but some still do. I agree That things like forge will have a player spike but overall this game is going to get worse and worse because the main issues are never addressed. People would rather put their time and energy into something else that does (which rightfully so) I started with Halo CE in 2001, so I’m a long time fan and this is the first game that I’ve barely played due to all the issues and lack of basic things like local campaign co-op (That will never happen now and anyone that thinks otherwise is dreaming!) Being able to replay missions (which I know is finally coming) a firefight type mode or firefight and a ranked team slayer playlist That is just Team Slayer but ranked. Not MLG settings or any of this type of stuff, which as I’ve said repeatedly is absolutely mind-boggling that it’s not in.

I agree with most people that the gameplay in Halo Infinite is good and I really enjoy equipment but the game overall just has way too many issues sadly. If I was under the age of 20, I would probably still play Infinite a decent amount as I would tolerate the issues and I had more time in my life in general. Now being a lot older, I just can’t justify spending my free time with something that has way too many issues. I think some of these issues will get resolved but It’ll be far too little too late unfortunately. Hopefully the next Halo game will be better and I hope they don’t abandon this formula and go pure Battle Royale or some type of garbage either. I don’t care if they have a separate game but just don’t abandon the arena format.

The state of Halo legitimately makes me sad

Wow, I missed it then. Thanks.

lol why are you sorry, these companies reap what they sow. you are merely pointing out what you see friend. do it unapologetically, who knows they may take a hint and do better if enough people do the same

Nah can’t be, Im in NA region and usually play in the evenings. Its funny because the BTB games, and quick play are the hardest to find for being the most popular picks.

I play Halo MCC only and Battlefield 2042 till 343 gets their act together, I need to see the following fix before I start playing Halo Infinite again:

  1. Desync
  2. Forge
  3. Custom Game Browser
  4. Custom Game Area FIxed

PERIOD!

Peace! :fist_right: :fist_right:

This is week 4 of me logging in only to do my weeklies. I’ve been finishing them to get the unlocks and then trying to find another game to play for the rest of the week .

I played HCE-H5 each literally for years after they launched. All my longest friends have always teased me because I’m always playing Halo MP years past when they’ve moved on.

But Infinite has two critical issues that just make it a chore to enjoy.

  1. Horrible server configurations, poor hit registration, ping seemingly doesn’t matter, and desync is rampant. Infinite’-Yoink!- detection needs a foundational overhaul.
  2. The worst aim assist feature set in the franchise history. The game literally pushes my crosshair away from enemies on a regular basis. And why is aim assist so heavily tied to the movement stick? It feels terrible!

I’ve tried Minecraft, Fallout 4, and State of Decay 2. As bad as it is, Infinite is still generally more polished than F4 and SoD2 from what I can tell so far.

Playerbase is still shrinking. I stopped 4 weeks ago playing infinite. Too much issues.

I get games within 30 seconds, though I only play during events. I probably put in like 5-10 hours in a month lol

I just took a break until forge and some sort of progression etc comes, been working on my GTA v achievements the last month, I won’t ever leave Halo, it’s just Infinite had a rough time the last year

No. I need more space on my Series X and the game isn’t fun for me so I uninstalled it. I’ll come back at a later time but in its current state I don’t want to play it.

I still play at least once a week. Having a great time, usually.

I still play it on occasion. Though I went several months before playing it again. Only thing that’s really got me back into it is doubles and sniper only playlists. I’d happily go back into ranked if they gave us ranked slayer and ranked swat…I can’t stand objective based game modes in a ranked setting.

Haven’t played in months and have zero progress in season 2. I’m here only to check on the Slipspace to Unreal conversation. When the new achievements drop, I’ll get them but having been burnt by broken Infinite achievements before, I’m going to wait until it’s clear they’re all unlockable even if that takes weeks. Or months.
