does anyone have any 3v3 standard strategies? I just got the game yesterday and i keep on getting wrecked or my teammates have to carry me :(. So if you have any building strategies or helpful tips they will be greatly appreciated

Which leader do you play mostly?
If you’re just starting out try using forge as he is one of the easiest leaders to use. If you need any builds just ask.

Scorpions.
Basic forge tank build: 4 supply pads + 2 reactors then vehicle depo
Quick tank build: 3 supply pads + 2 reactors then depo and another supply pad; you need to gather 2 crates of supplies
Canny cell build: do basic forge tank build then upgrade your reactor + research canny + delete unupgraded react and build vehicle depo
These are the basic builds for forge if u want to go air just switch vehicle depo with air pad.

UNDERPOWERED?!? I can’t tell if you’re trolling or not. A Grizzly force is deadly and very difficult to stop (unless you’ve been building Anti-vehicles). And while the Cyclops isn’t the most powerful unit, it’s category is Building Killer. They can also heal each other with the Repair Kit upgrade and are beasts against enemy infantry (but not Anti-infantry since they are considered Infantry).
One piece of advice I will give you is that knowledge is more than half the battle on this game. Scouting is important to find out what kind of threat you’re dealing with so you can act accordingly to counter. If you see the enemy making anti-air, that means keep your air unit production on a low and make some non-air units to go against or ask a team mate to do so.

power turret tanks beat grizzlies with super powered canny, I have never seen anyone use cyclops effectively though. grizzlies do have much higher health and are better against hunters and air, they are under powered because they get beaten by the non-super scorpion.

Forge is still the preferred UNSC in high level 3v3, and is not a bad alternative to Cutter in 2v2. In 1v1, he struggles vs UNSC, but is very good vs covie because of his heavy supply pads. Even in his worst playlist, a skilled Forge player still has the potential of getting around 47 trueskill with him (especially with all the Brute Chieftain players nowadays).
Halo Wars is imbalanced in the fact that specific matchups often give a clear advantage to one team, but if you simply compare leader vs leader in general, most of them have their place somewhere in this game.

99.9% CORRECT!
The decent Forge builds are pretty much what cutter ftw said, sometimes going hornets will confuse the hell out of the enemies but it depends on the matchup.
If you go Covy, then building a warehouse, temple, 2 warehouses and an air pad generally works well for making banshees in a 3v3, especially since the maps are so vast and with boost they can go anywhere you need them in seconds, and
they just become demolition machines with sacrifice in large numbers. Just try not to depend on them to destroy entire legions of stuff.
If AA is a problem just have an ally clear them out and it’s clobberin’ time.

so basically me and my real team usually play Anders Arby cutter and we beat like the best teams out there… so here’s what we do…
The arbiter will play defense from any possible rush by just raging stuff. Then arbiter builds vampires. Arbiter can also upgrade his arbiter and rage stuff late game.
Anders builds warthogs and drives them around and stuff to scare enemies making them think we are going to rush. Then anders gets gauss and builds lots of bases to make lots of warthogs. Anders will also have lots of extra money so she can click her teammates money.
Cutter will build infantry to defend from the rushing cheaters and then he builds tanks. cutter can get power turret faster than forge so this is good.
