Most people hated the armor abilities from Reach (rightfully doing so), can’t you guys realize that these “spartan abilities” are so much worse? I think we should have sprint, but something like spartan charge rewards players who may be just sprinting and not be expecting anyone, but just spartan charge and get away with it.

You can hit them back, you just need a really good reaction time.

> If your getting charged from the front or side then you are in a position to be able to do it as well, just getting beaten to the hit doesn’t make it that bad. In addition if you are getting charged from the front then the delay between the sprint, hit and then recovery should give you plenty of time to shoot off a whole SMG mag or get some B/R or A/R shots off.

> My BIG issue with it is the spartan charge/speed boos combination and i think this need addressing immediately, there is literally no countering or escaping and its a 1 hit kill whatever happens
The Memories of Reach update nerfed the combo, Don’t know who spiced your drink.

or just take the spartan charge out of the game and radar aswell
Well in my opinion they should decrease the range of spartan charge and make the hitbox smaller or/and increase the range of the radar to 25m. 18m is way too little even if you hear someone sprinting behind you or next to you you can’t see if its a teammate or an enemy. Anyway if you can already hear them and don’t react instantly you’re dead.
Its a really annoying mechanic, but it can be countered, and when you do pull off a counter its hilarious to see the guy just hit nothing and get killed for it.
Agreed. The fact it’s a one-hit kill in Breakout is beyond a joke.
Mmhm. The thing that most annoys me is Destiny did the same thing, and it didn’t work for that either.
who cares if its cheep, it works. if it were real war you wouldn’t care if it were cheep and it it meant winning.

Even then, if it’s in a narrow hallway you’re pretty much screwed. Reduce the distance you charge, it seems like it goes on too long and you can reach people a regular boost would only get you halfway to.

> Yep can’t stand it either, seems to be catered for gamers that are generally bad at FPS games for cheap kills, just like ground pounds.
Agreed, but I’d consider myself pretty good at Halo 5 and still have never pulled of a ground pound kill - lol

> I hardly ever die from spartan charge… Its not even hard to dodge tbh and I personally love the spartan charge
Yeah if you see the damn guy coming straight at you. Other than that, the small radar with charging’s homing attribute, it’s is hard to miss unless you’re expecting it.
My biggest issue with the spartan charge is that it flings you away from the attacker giving you no way to retaliate and melee back. Not only that but because the space is larger it leaves you open for an easy headshot. Basically if you get charged, there’s like a 80-90% chance you will die

Call of Duty Advance Warfare. It was crap in that game too.

> It’s honestly not as overpowered as people complain about. Hell I think I’ve been killed more trying to use it then actually successful getting someone else. I just fail to see how it’s as detrimental as it is from my experiences using it and having it used against me.
It is nothing like a lunge melee. A lunge melee is a thing in itself when two people are already in a close quarters battle. I think H3 had the same thing. Spartan charging like I said before is frustrating due to the radar and its homing feature. Yes, it’s avoidable and I’ve done it several times, but it shouldn’t be a thing. Hell, if anything I have more respect for a ground pound cause that’s a lot more difficult to pull off.
it kills you on half shields. Also let’s not forget the ghosts of meridian update for the charge.
I feel like I can never hit someone with it.
Haha, when someone tries to assassinate or spartan charge me I just ninja them
I feel that it’s cheap especially before it was nerfed in a game of swat. LOL on empire I just kept running in to people, they must have be pissed. Well i don’t really use it, besides playing warzone nothing can beat the good old BR55. And also if youv’e unlocked the strength unlock you can just melee people to death instead of charging.
It’s rare I use it and maybe once a game I will get charged. So I think it’s sn ok part of the game.

What to talk about? If you’re expecting it then play accordingly.
