I'm sorry but Spartan charge seems cheep

Well if you think about it Spartan charge is easy to dodge once you get used to it And the delay of the attacks after you spartan charge makes you have to use it right or your dead It just depends on how you are charging at the enemy, And as for the ground pound Yes it is a bit OP But hard to use until you get a hand of it and if you know its coming You can dodge it easy it just depends on how fast your Reaction time is.

> Easily one of the dumbest things in the game. Only countered by thrusters, and has a big hit box. It’s pretty hard to miss one completely. Also, there’s a thing where you can’t melee the person immediately after you get hit, which is infuriating.

I was meleed while I was Spartan charging someone. I was killed

Git gud

So does your grammar.

But yeah, I agree. Just needed to say that.

> It’s honestly not as overpowered as people complain about. Hell I think I’ve been killed more trying to use it then actually successful getting someone else. I just fail to see how it’s as detrimental as it is from my experiences using it and having it used against me.

this…I cant seem to land the damn thing.

Yes it’s annoying most of the time specially if someone charges you and you fly back and can’t melee him directly. But it’s pretty cool on the other hand if you come from behind than you don’t have to stop your sprint and go in the right position to ninja him just spartan charge that guy

But I liked the spartan charge in the campaign to break through the walls

I seriously hate Spartan charge, it is so lame.
I hate that if I see someone about to charge me from head on and I reverse thrust backwards they still fricking hit me!!
why does the charge have almost Twice the range of my normal thrust. Its stupid. Oh and why cant I melee them back after I get hit?? wft?

I hate it…

it is most affective during free for all but otherwise I say it is not something you use a lot or often but I’m just glad it exists.

It’s not really cheap because you can do the same thing to them.

If there is a way to counter it then it’s fine in my opinion.

I’d be one of those guys who’d Spartan charge and miss lol.

It is incredibly annoying sometimes, and I can see where people are coming from with this mechanic. I have had a few agitating moments where I got hit by a charge and I wasn’t supposed to be. So after I complained to myself my friend overheard me and didn’t believe me. We went into theater just to check and it ended up that what actually got me was a hitbox rather than the spartan themselves. It’s a pretty big hit box.

Although then at the same time I also have had instances where I dodged charges that I thought should hit me directly. So I am pretty confused how to handle the charge in some situations. I’d say I know how to dodge them perfectly, but I’ve had instances where I am just confused.

I wish it wouldn’t hit if you thrusted in any direction besides straight towards it.

its mostly effective if the enemy is cornered, otherwise its pretty hard to land

I honestly don’t see how it’s a cheap tactic. It’s like getting shot from behind or double teamed, it’s just a good strategy if you use it in the right situation. I have had my share of frustrations about it, but I think it’s like ground pound, it’s only good if you use it correctly, it’s not like you go 50 meters and take out 4 Spartans, your running at full speed and use thrusters, making you go an underexaggerated 15 m. If a Spartan IV can run at least 20ish mph in full armor, (estimation) the thrusters should add a good 10 mph, so they’re actually Spartan charging at 30 mph, meaning that the furthest they could reach in 1-2 seconds is roughly 13-26 meters, minimum.

If anything, they pretty much nerfed it a little bit considering the Spartans could be running faster to begin with.

The Charge is fine… don´t understand why people can´t handle it.
If you are inattentive and will charge thats your problem and it doesn´t mean the charge is too overpower or bad IMO.

thruster to left or right ?? Dodge you know?

It’s always such a scummy move to do.
Most of them are just Noobs trying to get trades since they can’t aim with a br or pistol…
They just ram you and spray with whatever automatic weapon they have.
