Last night i got carried away and posted on afew topics about my anger that some of my personal favorite helmets were not going to be carried over into Halo 4.
I’ve been a halo fan since CE and, yeah everyone does say that I suppose. But i realised something today, from reading other peoples take on the whole sitation and everything. What i realised is that, yes, 343 are taking the halo franchise FORWARD and making it their own. I understand that merging cannon and multiplayer is a massive task. So i guess as a long time fan i have to accept that this is the future of halo. Its made by halo fans for halo fans and like, how pent up and upset i was about loosing those helmets must be nothing compared to how nervous 343 must be taking one of the most succesful gaming franchise forward would be.
So I’m sorry for my outbursts, i’ll get flamed for this but i dont care. Im confident Halo 4 will deliver and im looking forward to another 10 years of halo under you guys.
343i has a lot of support so I wouldn’t worry to much about it. They expected heavy criticism from the start so no need to sweat it. I’m sure they will thank you for the apology though. Lets keep the bashing and flaming to a minimum.

Just to add, there’s really no need to apologize. Just don’t let it happen again and get to posting about what you do like to talk about. Whether its the Halo Universe, your favorite helmet, or constructive criticism about something in Halo 4, there’s a place for everyone on these forums.
Just try to have a cool head about you, and every thing will be fine. If you feel like you need to vent, I suggest getting offline for a little bit and cool down, and then come back with a level head.
the helmets are the only bit of halo 4 im critical of, i dont hide it, (looking at you infiltrater…) but all in all i can deal with the minor asthetic displeasure of the armor.
