Please, for the love of God, fix your abysmal matchmaking. It’s absolutely disastrous. Without the slightest bit of exaggeration, back in 2016 when original Reach was averaging around 500 players, not only was I finding games quicker but they had significantly less lag, too. Now six years later with 8 times the playerbase on PC alone, I constantly match with Americans as an Australia resulting in over 200 ping. Do you know how fun it is to have a quarter second delay? None. None at all. I’m so sick and tired of missing shots that should clearly hit because you guys are inept. Maybe instead of adding cut-content made by other much better developers that 2% of the community actually cares about, have you considered finally fixing your matchmaking? I’ve never played an online game with such atrocious connection.
The funniest thing is, I was playing customs with an American the other night who told me that he constantly matches with Australians. I meet Australians ALL the time, so how on earth are there not enough of us to match?
Also, if I don’t put either Reach or 3 in the search, I could wait hours before I find a game. How are you possibly this incompetent?
I’ve been dealing with this garbagefor 8 years. I’m sick of it. Your useless region select doesn’t work because it requires me to pick the 5 lowest ping servers, of which 2 of them are well above 150 ping. How does every other game get this right but the one I actually care about? How did the original games over a decade ago get this right and you can’t? You’re real cute with your art-style breaking armours, neglection of 2 and Reach content, talk about microtransactions and your Fall Guys plushies, but have you considered once in your eight years of messing around to allow people outside of America and Europe to be matched with people in their own regions the way every other game on the planet does?
