Hi, I would just like to express how happy I am that 343 Industries decided to lower the skill-gap in Halo 4. I’ve played Halo since the beginning and frequently got beat by people who were better than me, especially in Halo 2. I love Halo, but that system was just outright unfair and not very fun. Nowadays in Halo 4 I can go positive with minimal effort, the new and improved aim assist is an excellent addition to the franchise, now I land shots with consistent and lethal accuracy. The less user input the better in my opinion as now everyone can have a
jolly time regardless of ability. Yes, the talented Halo players lose out but who cares about those guys anyway? It’s us casual gamers that have all the money, not you dedicated fans, the fact 343i is, and will continue to cater to us is just something you’re going to have to learn to live with. In addition, the progressive rank system should stay as I did not like being a level 10 on the other Halos, thank God even if 1-50 ranks return they will be hidden away on Waypoint that’s all I have to say thanks for reading guys! P.S. (@343) do not cave in to pressure from the competitive community, KEEP the DMR as IS.

I think i can sense the sarcasm.

I can’t tell if serious or if your just trolling.

Either way I’m not gonna bother to reply with anything else.

Im going to fix a couple of things from the op here…

Hi, I would just like to express how disgusted I am that 343 Industries decided to lower the skill-gap in Halo 4. I’ve only played Halo reach and frequently got beat by people who were better than me, especially in Halo reach due to the lack of a good ranked playlist. I love Halo, but halo 2/3’s system was just perfect and extremely fun. Nowadays in Halo 4 I can go positive with the dmr/boltshot active camo combo, the new and improved aim assist is a handicap addition to the franchise, now I land shots with cheap and effortless accuracy. The less user input the worse it becomes in my opinion as now everyone can have an
easy time regardless of skill. Yes, the talented Halo players lose out but when the casuals move on to the next big title, who will stay and keep playing halo 4? It’s us casual gamers that blindly love a game with the title “halo” in it, not you dedicated fans, the fact 343i is, and will continue to cater to casuals is just something competitive players will not tolorate and will continue complaining until something is done. In addition, the progressive rank system should be trashed as I did not like hitting max rank on Halo reach and then having no incentive to play, 343i is shooting themselves in the foot if 1-50 ranks return and they are hidden away on Waypoint that’s all I have to say thanks for reading guys! P.S. (@343) do not cave in to pressure from Microsoft’s influence of making halo yet another generic fps, BALANCE the DMR for FAIR GAMEPLAY.

Ha! if they just get rid of bullet-magnetism for all guns in war games and actually make PvP real PvP, this games multiplayer will instantly become 30% better.
