I noticed when someone writes these “Bye Halo 5, Im Done With Halo 5, Halo 5 Sucks” Posts/Topics, some people usually complains how these are starting to come up more often. Do people actually wonder if these posts are actually a growing trend, and that maybe a lot of people are unhappy about Halo 5?
I noticed the same thing on the Halo 4 forums. People even took it too far with the “343, fix your game, you ruined Halo” posts.
With that said, I find it intriguing that the same people that didn’t like Halo4 are now liking Halo 5. Some reasons some people did not like Halo 4 were its supposed new online features that mirrored Many additions from Call Of Duty. However, I think Halo 5 borrows more heavily from COD and other games, especially with the requisition packs, ADS = smart link, and now the nerfed radar.
i actually liked Halo 4s multiplayer and I was addicted to it. It had the Halo feel to it. 343 did make some controversial changes, but still. So I was really dissappointed that I didn’t like Halo 5 multiplayer, I actually thought I would be puttin hours. Instead, I have to deal with AR starts, spartan charge, confusing mulitiplayer maps, confusing weapon spawns, and no more power weapon Spawns (these were important to control.
i ask myself, maybe because I’m not a good player anymore. But then I realized including sprint, spartan charges, missed up my muscle memory. When I play Halo, it feels like someone mixed up all my letter keys in my QWERTY keyboard. It feels like Halo during the campaign, but not in the multiplayer thanks to sprint and Spartan charging players.
I also don’t like the advertising for the campaign/game because it was a letdown.
You see a lot of complaint threads because irritated fans are more likely to come here to fuss cuss and moan that “ITS JUST NOT HALO ANYMORE” * then the run off to cry somewhere*. People that are enjoying the game only come here looking for other people to play with or just want to learn about the game.

Yeah i’m really happy with Halo 5s multiplayer as well. The campaign was IMO about as good as Reach’s campaign…in other words kind of meh. But I buy Halo moreso for the multiplayer anyways.
Story was bad. Multiplayer could be really good with some tweaks. Aiming system is weird, and some guns like the magnum need to be rebalanced. Other than that, it is fine.

Dude… reach had an outstanding campaign, good characters, solid missions (not the package though), and it mixed up the gameplay with dogfighting in space. The levels were open in some areas, which is good because it makes the player feel like they have more freedom, but the levels also kept you going in the right direction. It may be because you have not played in a while (I thought the same too, until I replayed the campaign) but halo reach felt like a solid campaign experience all the way through.
Secondly, I have not played the multiplayer, so can you give me some insight to why the multiplayer (which I heard is lacking in variety) is so good?
I used to say to people that Halo Reach was the pinnacle of multiplayer for the series, now I’m rapidly revising that opinion. Yes the game is different but I think 343 finally got the changes right. I’m a bit surprised by the OP’s saying he liked Halo 4 and thought it had the “halo feel”. Though I did really like the old Reach amor abilities set, Halo 4 took it too far with personalized load outs and kill rewards. I think the Halo 5 multi is one of the best Halo’s I’ve played and as long as 343 supports the community I will play it. Destiny doesn’t have the competitive edge and COD and Battlefield are getting stale. Halo 5 feels like a great evolution of the Halo gameplay and finally lets you play as a supersoldier, not a walking tank.

That argument has never made sense to me. How is Halo 5 not a good Halo? It has all the core mechanics that make it halo with a few additions that don’t do anything other than make the game more strategic and skill based.

Thanks for sharing your opinion , I agree there are a lot of people posting I’m out one minute and back next. I just started playing five and it seems like a lot of fun. I’m still getting used to controls and it will be a while before I have a decision about the game . I’m sure there’s things people don’t like. But so far it’s been fun for me.

Sorry to say it, but both of 343’s campaigns have felt kinda weak. It just seems diluted somehow, like they try to tell a grand story and end up spreading the story too far and wide. The older Halo games just had one or two locations. Halo 1 had Halo, Halo 2 was Earth and the second Halo, Halo 3 had Earth and the Ark, Reach was all one planet. Halo 4 and 5 seem to have these galaxy wide campaigns without a clear reason for the fight. Especially Halo 5 with the whole AWOL thing, I get the Chief could be dangerous but sending a Spartan Team to hunt him down for not coming home is a bit weak on the story after the Hunt the Truth teasers
I hate people that love Halo 5 and verbally punish anyone who doesn’t; I also hate people that hate Halo 5 without a valid reason for doing so. I’m a very neutral person.
