im really scared cause i know that 343 will destroy halo even if they dont want to do that
i know im judging them even though we still havent seen a trailer yet but i can feel it,i listened to every sparkest,read every OHI entry and the bulletins and i can feel it
they will change it too much,they wont make it like we all expect it to be,im not pessimistic im just realistic
and i want to inform you that im not flaming,im just realistic and scared,i want halo 4 to be fun like halo 2 and halo 3 in the same way,with the same core gameplay and all the things which gave us the halo feeling
i guess we will know more about halo 4 in 2 days,on monday but somehow i know it wont be good
btw:any ideas what changes and new things 343 could implement into h4? but stay realistic
I do have doubt, but hopefully that will be washed away come next week. Hell, even that new music in that 343i work video is washing away my doubt as I type.
I’m both sorry and happy you feel such concern over the future of Halo. I’m happy in that, as fans, we should always care deeply about the future of a great franchise. I am also, however, sad to see how much everything has you worried.
Hopefully, Monday will come along and you will have some of your fears and worries alleviated.

Steve, your a conservative. I got done listening to the 30min sparkast of March. Frank thought of himself to be the biggest conservative in halo lol. But he mentioned that change wasn’t all bad, and he is liking the new changes day by day. He looks back on things like, “why did reject this before,” and what not. He thought he knew what the game would turn out be, but now with all the changes coming in, it has taken a new vision of its own, of which he didn’t see before. He is liking the new change.
Your scared of all the new things to come, that’s why your acting like this. It will fail in your eyes because you failed to adapt like Frank. Try not to be secluded to one way of thinking. Don’t be too conservative on what is and isn’t halo. Trust 343. No offense…
Well I trust Microsoft and 343. I mean didn’t Bungie work together with 343 a little before completely turning over the franchise? I don’t think they are going to kill their cash cow just yet.
Honestly, Microsoft put the resources and infrastructure behind developing an all-star cast for their new studio. They understand how important Halo is to the Xbox brand. They know they potentially have but only one shot to instill faith in the Halo faithful. I cannot imagine them allowing 343 or Halo to fall on its face.
I have high hopes for halo 4 because of what i saw what they did with the anniversary map pack. However they have to be CREATIVE. Like halo 2, you should be able to go ANYWHERE. Ok maybe not anywhere, but dont make it as confined as reach was.
