I love Halo 4 (Excluding a few things in particular) so far, but one thing continue to bug me: This does not feel like old Halo. If feels new, and new is scary. I way to say this, is that the game is a lot darker than the rest, maybe a little more outlandish. Does anyone else feel this sense of fear of losing all of the old? Or am I being over-dramatic?
The fact that you are terrified by change in a video game makes me scared. Don’t worry, Halo 4 is a really good game!
It’s no different than change in the real world; everyone is afraid of losing what they already know and adapting to new things, but they do it.
I didn’t find it darker at all. In fact, I found it a bit cartoonish at times.
You shouldn’t be afraid of change.
I don’t find it dark at all. On the contrary.
In with the new! I’m glad it’s not the same thing! This feels like Halo to me, and somthing more scary is the question:
Is Halo 4 the best Halo yet?
This feels like halo to me… it’s the same game we’ve grown to love, yet darker and more mature.
Trust me 343 has nothing but love for Halo, Making the storys a bit more dramatic is well better scene the old halos were campy fun with a DARK back story. seeing this bleed into the games writing is a good thing and im sure nothing but better times are ahead.
Halo 5 or whatever mite be a even better game.
It feels less and less like halo.
-no time spent on a halo ring
-no flood
-no arbiter
-not much covenant action (i know they intorduced forerunners, but still)
-no johnson (FUUUUU)
-maybe no cortana?
Idk about you guys, but I got a VERY strong Halo 3 vibe from this game. And that’s a good thing. And I hated Reach.
