I mean, what’s not to love? The boring, forgettable story and annoying characters are just the start. The best part is easily the “throw a million enemies at you and then make you push a button” gameplay. And let’s not even get started on the lag. Nothing says “OUTSTANDING GAME” like inadvertently doing a moonwalk or having to wait 2 seconds for your gun to start firing, even when playing with people with lightning fast internet.

Yeah. I hated spartan plops too.

Yeah, Spartan Ops was an interesting experiment, but it shows they really didn’t have enough time or resources to really create something groundbreaking. It definitely got better in the second half of the season, but it was too little, too late. Too many reused assets and uninspired missions/objectives. Also there was no sense of urgency or threat from enemies because you could just respawn ad nauseum without any consequences. That sorta killed it for me.
