I'm not sure I beli343 anymore

In the video the multiplayer lead says they made sprint default because most people chose sprint and it “speeds up the gameplay”.

You have got to be joking. First of all, most people chose sprint because it was the lesser of 5 evils and secondly sprint does not speed up gameplay. I can go on a rant if someone wants me to about it slowing down gameplay but that’s not my point.

My point is that if the person in charge of multiplayer is as deluded as this moron, 343 seriously needs to reconsider who they put in charge of the most important aspect of Halo 4.

You aren’t going to get anywhere with calling someone a moron. It just makes you look like one. Secondly, the whole bit of choosing “The lesser of evils”, is strictly dependent on the persons preference. I choose sprint because Halo reach is rather kinda slow gameplay wise, and I like to move around the map quickly. Mind you I still like it, however sprint makes it more enjoyable. I suggest that next time you make a statement, talk for yourself and not other people.

I for one love sprint hate how slow H3 is im glad its back.

Yeah I do actually and you should too. Did you see the Halo 4 reveal? It showed a guy sprinting around the corner and meleeing a guy. That is how sprint will work. Herp a Derp Reach 2.0. Then he’ll go and hide in a corner with active camo. Man this game is going to be great.

They have stats that show how often an AA is chose. With those in mind, they decided to make it permanent because the other AAs weren’t being utilized. By making sprint a part of the standard controls, people can use other armor abilities. It makes perfect sense.

LOLSprint.

Why do they pick sprint? Because it’s the least stupid out of all the choices.

I find it really sad that sprint is now simply accepted as the norm in FPS. Military shooters have spread so much as to bring about the demise of arena shooters like Halo.

“We put Sprint in the game in an attempt to win the ‘modern military shooter’ audience”

That’s it. Nothing else.

Sad but very true.

they are such liars they made sprint for everyone because they wanted people to use all the other horrendous armor abilities they made which is contradictory because none of them speed up gameplay…

Yes, because only the modern military is allowed to sprint. /sarcasm

Its a bit sad to be honest, that the Halo community would jump to such ridiculous conclusions, and assume such things about this game.

Long enough and often enough to get a double melee probably. And get away with stupid mistakes.

If you want every type of FPS game to be watered down to essentially be the same thing, keep preaching that sarcasm.

How can you not? Ridiculous conclusions? Man do you know how many people were asking for no AAs and they still added them? I’m not assuming either. Listen to what they’re saying, watch the gameplay. This game will be Reach all over again if they don’t redeem these terrible implementations in some way.

after suffering through halo reach we should be allowed complain if we do not like what we are hearing from halo 4…

if developers dont want feedback why do they hire testers?

stop whining about the people complaining we are going to do it regardless of what you say, your comments are less useful than the complaints.

Still for all the complaining it does sound better than reach. the only thing that concerns me is the control systems

Having sprint as a non-removable option is the worst idea since bloom. This game is looking like Reach 2. And that is a terrible thing.

I honestly want to stay positive but they are making it so hard with all of this.
