Im not sure about infinite releasing on dec 8th

As many (if not all) of you may know, halo infinite is releasing to Xbox and PC on dec the 8th, but to make sure this happens, they had to make a few cut/draw backs to make that possible such as not releasing with certain weapons (looking at you shotgun), accessibility options and most of all, forge and theatre. We all saw the train wreak that was cyberpunk and what’s funny is that, it’s been fully fixed but not many people know about it. And I dont want that to happen to halo infinite. I’d much prefer that it’d be delayed to allow the developers more time to work on it so at least forge and theatre are completed. I dont want to make this too long so I think you know what I mean. Bye.

Cyberpunk is definitely not fully fixed.

I was under the impression it was just Forge and Campaign Co-Op that were being cut. Where did you see/hear that Theatre Mode was also being cut from the release?

To my knowledge, they say this game will revive updates or will be worked on for 10 years. So if co-op campaign comes out next year, or theater and forge, or weapons, that’s all part of the ten year process, to my knowledge. At least campaign and online will come out together even though we are missing some features and weapons or what not. I like the fact that they will be working on this game for a while because maybe they will eventually add a new mode or feature like how forge and theater were added into newer halos. So my hope is that even with some traditional features missing at launch that eventually features and or weapons get added smoothly and flight these features until they’re ready for implementation.
I agree with the OP and others that if the game ain’t ready don’t launch it! But… If part of the game works and it’s enough content for hours of play and it’s not buggy then I say launch it and take feedback and improve and repeat, so after 10 year you have a polished game. I say the launch of the game is as important as the flights because they can see and hear about more bugs or tips on improvements/opinions from the community.
And of course nobody wants another cyber punk launch, that would make the whole process more difficult because the feedback from the community would just be flooded with the obvious bugs that the games broken and not technical bugs or improvements, etc.
So yeah I say launch what you got and as long as it’s playable, even if it’s just the first campaign level or one map in multiplayer, gathering feedback and implementing into the game what the fans want is key to making the community happy and achieving the creation solid halo game that will be one to remember.
Remember reach? I heard there were features they never add because of the launch window, and Bungie/Microsoft still released the game and it’s my favorite halo, in my opinion.

Oh sorry, I meant that, the last time I heard any news on halo was like 2 weeks ago bc I made it a… lets say quest of mine to not go on youtube untill the 31st

Oh…

Forge and theater are not core elements of the game. They made the right call by pushing these features beyond the launch date to focus on core elements. They are nice feature to have but the vast majority of players do not care about them. They want a great campaign experience, a great multiplayer experience, or both. The game has already been delayed a year to resolve issues and another delay would kill player interest in this franchise.

I agree that a company should never release an unfinished game however we have actually seen and played the game already. It looks smooth and I personally like the graphics so if they released the game without the other gamemodes at least they have the foundation down…unlike some other game…cough…cyberpunk…cough…cough.

not to you they’re not. But they are really important for the creative community of halo. Those who want to make forge maps for HCS dont get that chance now. Respect what others deem as important and not what u think

i totally agree with this, ive been waiting for a new halo experience so long that tbh as long as its playable and decently fun i will play it, even if there is no forge or co op at launch.

Where have they said anything about certain weapons not being in at launch? I’ve been keeping my eye on this and haven’t heard/read anything about weapons being missing. And Cyberpunk is definitely not finished.

I doubt it’ll be delayed, December 8th is Christmas money after all and Microsoft won’t pass that up. It’s a shame they’re willing to tarnish their launch impression with another halo that is missing features but at this point I’ve expected it, and it’s killed much of my interest :woman_shrugging: I hated that H5 did it and I hate that infinite isn’t learning off that.

I doubt it’ll be delayed and I’m pro-delay.

I also doubt the shotgun being absent is tied to ‘cuts’. They intentionally included a different shotgun in this title. Just like how the DMR replaced the BR in Reach.

good thing 343i doesn’t need you to be sure, they obviously are.

Don’t worry about it. Microsoft and 343i’s bottom line is 100% sure about releasing on December 8th.

Oh, thank you, I wanted to say this but I was going to see if someone already said it

The new “bulldog” will be the temporary replacement for the shotgun where it relies on clips and nit individual bullets, I personally disagree with this move because how many tense, awesome moments where zombies are flooding the room you’re cowardly crouching in and reload :boom: reload :boom: a single zombie going down one at a time. In stead of reload :boom: :boom: :boom: :boom: that is just lazy and un-exciting
