I'm not mad, Just dissapointed

First let me say that the game itself is very well polished and smooth. I doubt anyone can legitimately disagree with that.
The campaign was a kind of fun to play through, I loved that there was something cool to drive in almost every mission. There was a nice selection of methods and weapons to wreak havoc on your foes throughout. The whole “team” thing was different in a very neutral way. The end of the sugar coating.

My disappointment is what you did with the story. First off, how do you mess that up? How do you work on a game that is so loved and cherished with the gaming community for 3+ years and plan for the story to have a cliff hanger ending? FAIL

Nobody wants to be any other Spartan besides John. FAIL
Nobody cares about Locke, or his back story or his cronies or any of that. Nobody wants to see how he figures out that he pales in comparison to John, or walk his troubled path between mission and morals. Nobody wants anything to do with him. Your trailers are to blame for that. We hated him from the beginning. We play Halo to be the Master Chief, not some cheesy knock off.

You destroyed Cortana. FAIL
Cortana was loved as much as John. Microsoft must have been either lied to or out of their minds to let you do this to Cortana. Especially with what they were doing to make her the first legitimate competition with Apple’s Siri. She was already the point of interest for this game, since the end of Halo 4 she was the whole point. You turned her into the “misguided ally turned enemy” and it hurts like watching people put ketchup on prime rib.

The Arbiter… almost fail
There’s a whole story here by itself, and I have a feeling that you clowns are going to use him in Halo 6. I might get to see it if I don’t die before it comes out in 2020.
The Arbiter is already the foe turned friend in this game, with a grand and rich history. He deserved more than a brief touch as a means to an end.

Guardians… ¿
Name the game after something that only looks at you funny and mouth breathes all over the planet? “peacekeepers” really?

I am sad to admit that Halo 5 was overall disappointing for me. I will give the online multiplayer a decent shot.
Its a shame to have no closure. I will probably not purchase the next halo. and sad to say i probably wont even go online to watch the cut scenes.

i will keep halo 1-3 for my kids to play some day, and never disappoint them with the travesty that has been done to this story.
