whats the point? you mean other than showing that these updates fix nothing , and that, once more were beeing told this big fat lie about “next gen gaming” and how this kind of stuff is not supposed to happen anymore, I can understand those games way back, they had many players from all around the world, but now…come on(?) im not trying to get into any argument with you, im just stating what for me, is an issue that should have been adressed a long time ago.

I have 50mbps now, and the connection is drastically worse than it ever was.
The point is that Dedicated Servers weren’t advertised for those older games; they were advertised for this game.
But showing a single clip where you were lagging is not very representative. And then drawing statements like “these update fix nothing” from it is very rash.
I could make a game clip where everything is perfectly fine and post it here, decorated with the statement “Game is fixed, we don’t need any other updates, thanks 34<3”
It would have the same effect on you as your thread has to me.

Well that’s unfortunate. I also have 50 mbps and my games are as good as they never were before. Even when I wasn’t playing on dedicated servers.

This is an exaggerated version of what I have to deal with on literally every single non-custom match:
If you look closely OP you can actually discern that you’re suffering from a bad case of poor internet…
You can seek to rectify this issue by tossing away your current Wal Mart internet in favor of a cleaner, faster internet experience.
Is this only happening for you on H2A maps?
Curious are you new to Halo? These type of things use to happen sporadically in Halo 3 but they were far and few between for me. Just too much fun to complain about the random poor internet connection match. So what are you trying to say? That 343 is garbage because of this poorly connected match? If it happens frequently then maybe it’s your internet?
My friend had this happen to him on H2C with a dedicated server. He’s got 20 down 5 up and 20 ms last mile latency. He was in new York and my friend experienced it on jersey and I experienced it in Virginia but to a lesser extent. I’ve got a 700mbps down and 500mbps up with 3 ms last mile latency (I’m directly on the internet backbone) and I still experienced issues. Don’t have this bad of a problem in P2P on MCC. I’ve had more stable connections on quake in the 90s.
