I'm new

Im new to halo 5 and I want Top and tricks replied below. Thank you

Im New here

Best way to learn tricks is to see then try for yourself. You can look up trick jumps on youtube. If you’re trying to get better try free for all. Doesn’t matter if you win just try to do better each match. Look at you past matches in theater and learn some positioning and what you did wrong. There you go all the advice I can give you on that front.

Since I don’t know how new you are some basic advice. Don’t ignore objectives, red x, the kill feed, motion tracker, or lose track of where your team is. P.s. ctf is not 100% try to get enemy flag. Defending your flag is part of it. Also dominion defend what you capture.

LukeTheNotable has some pretty good YouTube tips videos.

Well to gain some rp, to spend on bronze/silver packs is to jump into some wzff matches with any type of rp boost. Heroic level.

Open bronze packs first, then silver, then gold

Dont just start by opening gold packs. You’ll progress faster if you finish of bronze/silver first

Actually you should just do silvers first because bronze doesn’t garuntee unlocks. Maybe do a few bronzes just to get some basic common reqs to use in WZ.

Welcome to Halo Waypoint, buddy! You’re in for a really good time! Of course, I’ll share some tips too:

  • Practice makes perfect! - Try out the Social playlist to become familiar with Halo 5’s mechanics and experiment with new things - Watch plenty of Halo tips on YouTube (LukeTheNotable is a good one) - Start off with Silver Packs first, then when you’re done, move onto Gold Packs for the good stuff.Hope you enjoy your stay!

Agreed. Plenty of practice helps immensely!!!

Sometimes sitting down and thinking over your current strategies and their effectiveness in combat can really help you become better. I paused one day and just rethought every single way I would tackle unique issues, and so far it has really helped me in team play and in killing vehicles.

That’s actually impressive. Well done, Snickerdoodle

As far as tips go, id say its best not to let a bad game get to you. You’ll have them, and if you’re like me you’ll have them a lot. Practice, and don’t get frustrated and you’ll do fine.

Im going to do it if nobody else will:

Git gud

If you don’t know, shield don’t recharge when you run. Some of my friends didn’t get that for a while.

Yeah what smelly kitten said

Open a few bronzes, then finish silvers, then golds.

I’ll add,

  • Don’t listen too or let negative people bring ya down
-Form a team of people of similar skill as you and play together if you can. Grow as a unit (ALL UNITS! lol)
  • watch pro’s play and others of high level skill
  • try not to get frustrated, your going to die most likely A LOT at first. Halo takes a lot more skill I’d say then a lot of other FPS
  • go in forge and walk around maps yourself to learn where things are (weapons, power ups etc)
  • watch some of your games later on (good and bad ones, especially bad ones) see what you could of done differently
  • and I’ll have to disagree with HaXoR73 on buying silver packs first, sorry bud lol  Buy bronze first, then when you don’t get anymore unlocks, then go to silver. Unless you like gambling

Welcome to Halo and Waypoint bud
