How do I customize my spartan to use a gun other than the assault rifle? I know the requisitions give you other guns, but is there a way I could make, say, a battle rifle my primary weapon? Could some respectfully explain how it works to me? Thanks.
When playing standard games, you’ll either start with an Assault Rifle and Magnum, or AR and BR (Big Team games) for the majority of playlists. There is no way to change your loadout weapons like there was in Halo 4.
You can change your loadouts in Warzone.
Once you’ve reached REQ level 2 or higher, visit a REQ station. From there you can choose which weapons you will spawn with (once you have reached a high enough REQ level, each individual game).
You will have the choice of infinite respawn weapons (Assault Rifles, BRs, SMGs, DMRs) which you can respawn with unlimited times, or single use Power Weapons (Sniper Rifles, Rocket Launches, Beam Rifles, etc).

There are no load outs halo 4 style.
Only arena based idea (equal starts for everyone).
Personally, all i need is the AR and the Magnum. When you are playing warzone, you got to get energy by getting kills and capping bases. Then you go to a req station, and switch your loadout. You can find REQ stations in bases that your team controls. In arena, everyone starts off with the AR and magnum, then you pick up weapons as you move around the map.
You cannot change what weapon you start with in any gametype besides warzone. If you are wanting to change your loadout in arena its not gonna happen.

You won’t be able to use a DMR in warzone unless you’ve unlocked it through the REQ cards you use points to purchase. There is no freebie DMR or basic default one to use at all, so purchase REQ packs like a mad man until you finally get one.
