im more worried for campaign than Multiplayer

Isn’t anyone else?

I guess it is just the fact of how poor Reach’s Mp was so poor, you can only do better from this point.

The lack of info for campaign is killing me. Nothing about enemies, weapons, vehicles, or allies. Hopefully the 29th rumors are true.

Campaign will be fine, just have to wait and see… also you spelled campaign wrong

I wouldn’t say more worried than Multiplayer, but I do share your concern for Campaign to a degree. I guess since most people play Multiplayer more than Campaign, there is more pressure to make it “perfect”. Still, the quality drop in Campaign from H3 to Reach was much more severe than that of Multiplayer.

im not worried about the campaign i know 343 will do it well, frankie is the Franchise Development Director and he worked on halo 2 and 3 too so im more worried about the multiplayer

Majority of the community plays Halo for the multiplayer.

i would say multiplayer quality dropped more than campaign quality

i also am :frowning:

There has been a lack of info for all gametypes about Halo 4.

People come for the campaign and stay for the multiplayer.

If one doesn’t care about the setting and backstory they could just as well play any other game.

i just hope we get to kill a bunch of scarabs like in halo 3. that was fun.

I’m afraid 343i will ruin Halo’s great story with this new Trilogy. I’m not as concerned about multiplayer because well, they can always patch that. Once they do the campaign, it’s final.

I find myself agreeing with you. The multiplayer is bound to be great, since we have some amazing talent working on it who also happen to be Halo fans and only want the best from this game. I’ve seen what amazing stuff fans of Halo can make, and I doubt this will be any different.

However, the campaign will be either a hit or a miss. They need to set down the foundations for an amazing new trilogy while keeping the greatness of the old with fresh new ideas and story directions. The story should amaze people, especially since a lot of people (myself NOT included) were disappointed with the story in ODST and Reach. There’s a lot on the line here, but I’m confident that 343 Industries can do a great job.

I’m worried about the campaign because both H3 and Reach’s campaigns were sub par. Halo 3’s was way to short and Halo Reach’s just kind of sucked and wasn’t difficult.

In all honesty i thought the campaign was great. It could have been better. Combat wise, it was pretty good; but, canon-wise, not so great. The whole point of Reach was just stupid. It didnt go along with the book, wasnt canon at all; they left some of it wide open and left me with questions (like what happened to Dr. halsey’s escort), and just how it lacked a lot of big combat situations.

When i read the article in Gameinformer about Reach i thought there was going to be huge combat scenes with more than thirty AI in one setting, yet i was wrong and disappointed.

There were some good missions though and they incorporated a lot of things into them, especially the mission where you have to go throughout the city in a Falcon, i thought that mission was amazing. And how they introduced space combat as well, simply amazing.

But even then the campaign was not what it lived up to be despite its amazing ending.

But i believe the Halo 4 campaign will either be really good or really bad. One or the other. Since there is no covenant left and the forerunners encountered flood, i believe we will be seeing a lot of that in the campaign.

Also, he probably will be running around the world/city piecing together clues and doing little tasks in a course of rising action that slowly pieces together a huge storyline that explains everything in its final climax. Im excited really.

Every Halo (except for ODST) weve fought campaign levels on forerunner structures and now we finally get to play on their homeworld.

For all we know it could be like ODST and you find items that inhibit flashbacks to moments in the past and we get to PLAY as forerunners.

The possibilities really are endless. All we know is that the storyline is being put together and encoded right now as we speak, along with the multiplayer.

We’ll have to find out come holiday season (:

I hope they keep the Campaign in the dark to be honest. I’d like to see an E3 trailer, but that’s about it. They should keep it as mysterious as possible, I think it’d fit well with the overall feel of the Campaign.

I want to see loads of multiplayer stuff instead.

Halo 4’s Campaign has MC. No campaign with MC has been remotely bad thus far.

/enough consolation for me.

I am equally worried about campaign and multiplayer. If the campaign is bad hopefully the multiplayer will be good but, hopefully 343i will do a good job.

I am not worried about halo 4s campaign x) actually the campaign is the thing i am most excited for,And i didnt like reaachs campaign…And i have been waiting for this a real Halo,a sequel to halo 3<3 After watching legendary ending i wanted to know more.At least for me halo 4 will have that weird, alien feeling to it.And halo really needs a game more focused to the campaign :stuck_out_tongue: I dont know why i get that feeling that 343 is doing a great job… i just know it

lets be honest…who here really gives a -Yoink- about the campaign?..

the multiplayer is what people are buying halo for. Sure a lot of us will play through the campaign but after that?..

I’m pretty sure a lot of us give a Yoink! about the campaign. I for one am much more excited about the return of MC than anything new MP will have to offer. I started playing Halo for the single player not for the multiplayer, and I know I’m not the only one.
