I wanted to review my most recent game (yesterday) and while I’m listed in my statistics as having played it, my Spartan or even gamertag for that matter doesn’t show up in the theater replay. Wtf?
This has happened to me! I was so confused! I did really well in one game on ARC and went back to watch to see what might have been part of the equation (I want to keep doing it!) and there was nothing in the theater mode with me in it… the whole match played out, but my name never appeared in the kill notifications on the left and I could not find my name in the camera list no matter how many times I cycled through it. I didn’t JIP, and I watched the whole match. It was bizarre.
How is this possible?
Same thing happened to me.
What happens is when a player quits and you join in progress sometimes in theater it shows your gameplay but under their name and with their armor, basically you’re controlling the player that left before you came in.
That’s screwed up man. Ridiculous.
That’s happened to me a few times even if I started the game with everyone and didn’t join in.
It’s usually not even a gamertag associated with the person, but their service tag instead.
