I was in DRO Gaming, am a Field Major, and love SAWs. I’m oriented for defending in CTF, driving, assault, and I’m a marksman not a sharpshooter, although I am a well Ranger, my marauding has me up in kills than deaths in all games except H5 as I just started there.
If I had to pick a rank to make sense for you, in hopes that your company does all types of military ranks, that’s Commander Captain. I do like these ranks, too: Battle Captain, Field Commander, Captain Commander, Captain General, Commander General, General Commander, Battalion Commander\Rear Admiral. And as for NCO ranks; Specialist, Sergeant, 1st Sergeant, Command Sergeant (it used to be true.)
Besides some commando roleplaying, here is the emphasis about what Ranger is to me:
Commandant.
Court Ranger.
Master Ranger.
Lead Ranger.
Archer.
Forest Ranger.
Bowman.
Bowyer.
And for what it’s worth… Black Knight.
Do you like those ranks or the responsibilities that follow them?

Most clans I know don’t typically let people join as staff, in what is typically a high rank. Role playing or not everyone enjoys a fair metagaming experience rewarded by rank.

We are actually not obsolete. Lot of us are from England or European and play in different time zones to you. We’ve also has a week off so you caught us on a quiet week. Some of us (like myself and my real life friends) play everyday for an hour, but we mostly play on weekends.
